My soul was drawn to him. It isn’t about the danger or his dark beauty, it’s the connection I feel – the feeling of home I have with him even though I am miles away from it.
Megan, Mobster’s Vendetta
The mob underworld never changes. It hides itself deep in the cities. The rules, people, and danger are identical no matter where you go. Sometimes I wish things were different, but they're not.
Antonio, Mobster’s Vendetta
Antonio and Megan have had to overcome severe challenges in the short time they have been together. Things just happen that way sometimes. Circumstance has kept them apart, but their biggest challenge is yet to come.
Power, greed, and malice can crush a person from the inside out.
Antonio and Megan are in Chicago. Antonio needs to take care of business.
Business that includes taking down his Uncle - for good.
*MATURE YA sexual content, strong language and violence. This is book three of the Mobster series.

***Newest Release is Mobster's Gamble: Book 1 in the Chicago Mob Series.
In the third book of the Mobster series, the saga continues as Antonio tries to take care of family business while trying to leaving Megan out of it, to keep her safe. Unfortunately, Megan is already in too deep into the mob world and won't be left behind, not when she can help.
There are so many things I love about these books. First is Antonio and Megan's relationship and how it evolves over the course of the books. He is deep into the mob, the son of a Mafia boss looking to take over the family business when the time comes. In the first book, Megan is innocent to the things going on around her. By the third book, she is aware and accepting of what Antonio does and even willing to help do whatever she can to keep him safe. She's grown up a lot through the pages and that shows through their relationship and her relationships with others.
Second is just the story itself. I admit I do not really know anything about mobsters, their code of ethics, or their language, but the author does such a great job immersing the story in details that she make it completely believable.
Third is Vito. He is the kind of friend everyone needs. He sees what needs to be done and does it, no questions asked. He's always got Antonio's back, no matter the cost. I am glad we got to see more of him and get to know him better in this book, and I look forward to his story coming soon.
I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
So we're back. I've been waiting forever for this book because I LOVE this series. Par the course, the beginning is slow. I really could have done without the shopping trip etc etc. Erin is still annoying and, by now, we all know she's my least favorite character. I am truly sick and tired of hearing about how Connor 'cheated' on her. They're 15!! How many high school girls don't go out with someone and find out he gave someone else his number or kissed someone or something? You suck it up and move on!! Why is everyone acting like they were married for 30 years and had 3 kids? When she insisted she wanted to join in the target practice I was hoping she'd take a bullet. Ok, ok maybe not...except, yes really.
Vito...Gawd, Vito. I still love him. Vito is the truth, ladies and gentlemen. Yet, he continues to annoy me with the whole Erin situation.
Megan and Tonio - Mob royalty. I love their love and devotion to each other. I love them! This is no easy feat considering how consistently women in mob books annoy me. I was kind of iffy on Megan being some kind of natural sharpshooter, but I rolled with it. I was not convinced that she needed to be involved and I was with Tonio 100% on that one. He wanted Megan separate and clean. That was just reaching to me. So many trained mobsters but they needed her for the hit? I don't think so. Either way, Megan is my girl and she brings her A game every time. Tonio may want to keep her in a tower far away, but she is ride or die for her man. Go girl!
All in all, I did like this installment. It was great seeing everybody together again, even if I had a hard time keeping the names straight at first. The action was there once again, and I loved it. I did feel that it dragged a bit in the beginning and I didn't get the logic of the opening fight with Demetrius.
The next book is Erin and Vito's and sadly, I'll be sitting that one out. I must be the only person out there who doesn't like them as a couple. I don't like weak, sniveling women/girls and I ESPECIALLY don't like them paired with mobsters. Not everyone can be Megan but Vito needs someone stronger. I liked Lisa. She cried a lot but at least she had the cajones to go after the guy that killed her brother. That's what Vito needs, not someone he has to babysit. And, considering I really won't buy Erin turning into some kind of power house someone will have to give me the cliff notes.
This is the third book in this series and the last one featuring Antonio and Megan as the main characters. This is probably my favourite so far, it opens with Megan going a little stir crazy since she's trapped on the top floor of the Mancuso Mafia Penitentiary better known as the La Bella Regale Casino and while she has every luxury at her fingertips she doesn't have freedom or Antonio the two things she wants the most. Antonio and Vito have been gone for three weeks, Antonio is missing Megan just as much as she's missing him but he has a job to do, he has to track down his Uncle Tutti and after what his Uncle did to Megan he's very motivated to find him. While staying at the casino Megan discovers she has a surprising gift one which will no doubt come in handy. Like I said I really enjoyed this book and again it kept me hooked from the first page to the last but once again I had the same problem, Erin, and while she didn't annoy me as much this time she's still the weakest character for me.
Amy I absolutely love you books. I bought and finished Mobster’s Vendetta in one day. I loved Antonio’s speech that he gave Megan, about the best days of his life AWW. I want an Antonio!!! Megan and Erin's mother makes me so mad, I can't help but say "Megan you tell her girl". And poor Vito can’t catch a break with Erin. Can’t wait to read Erin and Vito’s story….
I'm so happy I stumbled onto this series. I'm also very sad to see so few reviews or evidence many know about this author. I immediately added the series to a Goodreads list for mafia stories to try to spread the word (Best Mafia/Mob Romance Books). If you like Rachel Van Dyken and her Elite series, I think you'll really like this one. Similar to that series, you can easily overlook the young adult factor (14-18 years old) living in a very adult world (mob).
I read all 3 books in one sitting, so this review covers all of them. Also, the first two books end unresolved and are not standalones. They are told in alternating points of view between Antonio and Megan. I like the large role Tonio's friend, Vito, and Megan's sister, Erin, play in the story. There is a 4th book about them - Mobster's Angel. It did niggle in the back of my mind Erin's age (14-15 in this book and up to 16 in the next) and I found myself thinking about it too much. The age difference between her and Vito (3 years) isn't much, but it's hard to think about that at this point/development (maturity and physically) in her life. I also thought about me being a 39 year old woman and looking back to what I was up to when I was 15/16. So... no room for me to judge there.
The book has a wee factor of insta-love once they get together, but there's also been a tension between the two since they first played in a sandbox together at age 5. They have always been aware of each other and act immediately on their intense feelings in the first book of this series. The chemistry between the two and the friendship that develops was well-written and paced just right. I did like that the sexy time scenes faded out as they are just underage and that would have made me feel a bit creepy, old and pervy.
When I took a break from the 1st book, I audibly yelled "aha!" when I figured out a key part of the book that really hadn't been mentioned much by that point. (view spoiler) I was so smug I figured it out so quickly and completely confused my husband talking to myself.
Although you forget how young these characters are (skipping high school to be on the run), that really didn't bother me throughout the story. Very rarely did they show a lack of maturity. I never got that sense with the first book, but I did notice it more in the later books. Mostly those scenes involved Troy and Jake. Jake really didn't serve any purpose for me in the story except a few scenes to help Erin feel at ease or to show Vito's possessiveness. Troy drove me batshit crazy. I liked him in the beginning, then he was whiny, and by the end I was ok with him. The scenes in the casino with the groups usually were those I liked the least as they were bit silly (mainly Troy/Jake again). Then again, they are all very young and this is likely closer to how one would act at that age. In this series and the next with Erin/Vito, I was confused with Joey's role and how he seemed more of a friend than protector. Although there weren't any obvious hints even in the 4th book, I do wonder about him and Clarissa. I do like the newest book is about Troy and Alessandra - I look forward to their story! And since I'm on the fence about Troy, I still want Alex to turn her head.
My only real frustration about the book and something I found hard to overlook was the proofing/editing. I always overlook a few errors here and there with independently published authors and lack of a big box publisher and their staff. This had too many though that sometimes had me re-reading a sentence to make sure I understood. There vs. their. Sentences starting off one way, were rewritten, but the original wording wasn't fully deleted. It may have been due to the formatting to Kindle, but dialogue between 2 people didn't have a break and ran on into the same line/sentence. I am a bit particular about this as a large part of my job is proofing/copy editing, but my fingers and red pen itched to get ahold of this and make it even more perfect than it already is.
Overall, the story is excellent, well-developed and structured making it extremely engaging. The suspense part of the book was also intriguing and kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters really grow throughout the story and you see the evidence of that even more in the 4th book. I especially liked the new Megan and how she develops. I even liked Megan/Erin's father, Patrick. I wanted to get stabby on their mother. I can't stop thinking why Patrick stays with her and at one point wondered if she was betraying her own family. Maybe Patrick can take her to work with him? (that was ugly, sorry)
The author provided me with a copy of this book for my honest review
The third book in the Mobsters series starts right where the second one left off, Megan and Erin are now ensconced safely in a casino of a mob boss. Antonio is still trying to clean up the mess and find the traitors, Megan is trying to help her sister get over the trauma. The two of them are having to spend a lot of time apart, they miss each other and the stress of mob life is weighing on both of them. I started reading this book as soon as I finished the second one, this series is really addicting I just couldn't put it down. I loved how the characters seemed to mature through out this book. The ending had me clapping my hands in joy, again I don't want to give to much away. This was another fast paced quick read, the violence is disturbing and provides a great contrast to the sweet love story between Megan and Antonio. This book was a good addition to a great series, Amy has written another book that has to be added to my favorites list. I can't wait to get my hands on Vito and Erins story and will probably beg the author shamelessly for an ARC.
***RRC received by author in exchange for an honest review***
I can't wait for number 4!!
I loved reading more about Vito and Erin! What a birthday!! Oh to have money ;)) I really felt for him every time Jake was around!
Uncle Tutti and Demetrius argh!! Between the two of you I wanted to throw my kindle more than once!
I love the growth and development of Megan from the first book , where she is totally in the dark, to the third book where she is helping to protect her family.
This review is very null and void but I am so happy that Vito and Erin have a story coming. I practically squealed every time Vito got possessive or sweet. So yes, I have a problem that hopefully should be cured or even exacerbated when their book comes out.
Back to Mobster's Vendetta I liked it but wasn't in love. 3.5 Stars!
Amy Rachiele (AR) did it again this series is electrifying, trust me, in my opinion it’s in the same league as Dmitry’s closet. I love it, can’t wait for mobster’s angel. Since Erin has some growing up to do I hope AR have a prologue that shows some of what Vito was going through in the other books or have flash backs to those times. Thumbs up!!
I really liked this book, #3 of the series. Ms. Rachiele has clearly improved her writing. Kept me at the edge of my seat.I'm looking forward to read Vito's story in the next installment of the series.
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! I just can't get enough of the story line here, so intriguing. The characters are the best and Amy Rachiele gives us such a great picture. Also so excited to hear the taboo relationship between Vito and Erin will continue!
Brief summary: Megan is still hiding out with her sister. She's realizing some talents she never knew she had. Tonio and his family are making mob alliances and hunting down Uncle Tutti. Megan and Tonio's relationship grows even more intense.
Likes: -Megan and Tonio continue to have amazing chemistry. - It appears Vito and Erin will have their own book. I'm also curious about Allessandra and Troy's possible love story. -I always love Tonio being tough and protective and going totally gangsta when need me. -I did like Megan discovering her talent and stepping up to help Tonio, but I also kind of thought she would be more conflicted about it. -I love a happily ever after and even though there isn't an epilogue, it was made very clear that Tonio and Megan have a future together. Yay!
Didn't love: - I was a little confused by some of the mob story. I didn't understand why Tonio would do a favor for Dimitri or involve himself with him at all. Was it just something he was obligated to do for the alliance? -Was Dimitri's only motive for everything because he was power hungry? I guess some of this felt inconclusive. - Megan and Tonio's easy acceptance of the mob culture. I understand how it makes sense with their characters, but I think it could have been a much more interesting story if those two had really wrestled more with their morality and eventually found a way out of the lifestyle.
Recommendation: yes. Read it only if you've already read books one and two. Also for lovers of light mobster stories.
I really loved Megan and Tonio. What I liked about Megan was that she knew what Tonio did for a living and she accepted it. She did not try to shove morality down his throat and be all scary cat and run away and all that sh#t. She loved HIM and she accepted it with such grace that I fell in love with her because of that. Megan did not do anything stupid and she supported and loved Tonio with everything that she was, Megan was a truly memorable character that although she has her soft side she can be tough as well, she never made their relationship seem like a hardship, she wanted it wholeheartly and was willing to work for it as well.
Antonio is smoking hot and I loved his protective and possessive streak and the way he treated Megan and her annoying sister Erin. He is the epitome of what a gangster should be like. He was strong when he needed to be but soft and kind as well. A very well rounded character.
My only downer in this book was Erin, she really is annoying and she needs to get with the programme. It was hard to believe that she and Megan are sisters!!!I don't like weak, sniveling women/girls and I ESPECIALLY don't like them paired with mobsters. Saying this I cannot wait for her book with the delicious Vito. Now I want me a Vito!!!!, I understand not everyone can be Megan but Vito needs someone stronger and someone who will love him for him but let me not get off track.
Read this series you will not be disappointed and it is a well written book with memorable characters and an interesting plot.
So sad that this is the end of the series because I really have enjoyed every moment of Megan and Antonio. Although I have to say....Yay! Erin and Vito are getting their own story. I really hope that the author doesn't forget about the other interesting connections in Erin's story. I am selfishly hoping that their story will contain some bits about how things are going for Megan and Antonio too. Now on to what I should be writing about-this book. This was an appropriate final book to the series. I was happy to see that Megan really started to come into her own and figure out where she fit in with everyone and everything else. And Antonio and Patrick saw it too. I have decided that I hate Megan's mom and I really hope I don't have to see much of her in upcoming stories. But, I am finally starting to get Megan's dad a little bit and I hope to see more of where that goes in future stories. I love that this was a happy ending, but not a cheesy happy ending-it was much more realistic that I anticipated. Overall, I thought it was a great finale to the series, but I can't wait for more so I am anxiously awaiting Erin and Vito's story. I just hope it skips ahead a couple of years as I am having a hard time thinking about a 15 year old and Vito.

First Off let me state that this review will hold no spoilers at all!Mobsters Vendetta is Book three in Amy Rachiele's Mobster's Series Books.Book One is Mobsters Girl,Book Two Awakening the Mobster.Mobster's Vendetta Blew me away.I do believe it is my favorite one yet.Amy just keeps getting better and better the more she writes.Amy Rachiele's Writing has a way of pulling you into the scene and making you feel as if you yourself are inside a mobster meeting or a gunfight. This book has everything,Action,Hot Italian Guys(which is very important),Love,Romance You name it,chances are its probrably in there.Megan and Antonio were amazing in this.Megan surprised me a bit by her actions and I wanted to hug her and say You go girl(that sounds so what 90s?..who cares..You go Megan!)and Antonio..well he's still the same old hot Italian mob guy..who has a sensitive side when it comes to Megan.I highly suggest reading Mobsters Girl and Awakening The Mobster before Mobsters Vendetta. We also have Vito and Erin's story coming out in the future.Job Well done yet again Amy Rachiele.I hope everyone has a chance to read Amy's Books as they are amazing. Both Were on my Top 2012 list AND I know Mobsters Vendetta will be on my Top 2013 booklist!
Oh No... Don't be over already!! All of the Mobster series were incredibly short stories, but this one just seemed to speed past so much quicker. I love Antonio and Megan they have addictive chemistry and their stories are guaranteed to be action packed. I have been awaiting this third installment for months, and I can't not believe it was over that quick. Even more importantly it is the last of the series. I was so excited to see Megan taking a more active role in Antonio's world through this book. She seems to embrace the lifestyle that she never knew she had, and conquers all of her fears. I LOVED IT! There is nothing better to say. Rest assured that Amy Rachiele is not letting us down although this storyline may be done, but the journey if far from over. After the obvious building of attachment for Vito and Erin over the past two books; I just discovered that Rachiele's next book will be their story. I can not wait for that book. So here is to the months in waiting while I will be ever so patiently waiting.~BookWhisperer Reviewer JO~
This was a great conclusion to the series! I am so glad I took a chance on it last year. This one starts off right where Awakening the Mobster ended. Antonio and Vito are hunting down Uncle Tutti, and Megan and her Sister Erin are being kept safe in a casino with Ennio, another mob boss. The Delisi family joins with another mob family, the Furlotti's. But this juncture brings a whole new crazy by the name of Demetrius. He is totally off his rocker and brings some exciting moments to the story.
This was a great story that had my heart racing and quickly turning pages to see who would survive. It was full of passion, action, fighting, and family. I am sad to see it end, but I anxious to hear more of Vito and Erin's story. This story does have a lot of the f-word. I recommend the series to New Adult readers.
AHHH!! Why is it over?!?! I want to read more books about Megan and Tonio NOWWWWW!!! Gimme gimme!!!!
Ok, enough of that silliness.
I enjoyed Mobster's Vendetta very much. I just think it went so fast. I know I'm not a fast reader, but for some reason I keep getting through Rachiele's books super fast. Maybe it's because I enjoy the story so much. On that note, I absolutely cannot wait until Vito and Erin's story comes out!! YAY!!!!
I think I solved it...
I'm having too much of a fangirl moment to write a proper review. I can only say I love this series and anyone else who likes a little romance mixed in with their action and drama should give it a shot.
I thoroughly enjoyed the three books in the mobster series and in turn I am a firm fan of Amy Rachiele.
This book does not disappoint, the raw feelings of passion and protection in Tonio and Megan’s relationship that is evident in the first two books are pumped up to new heights whist the nail biting action and tense suspense of doubt, trust and loyalty to the family and the ones you love are a real page turner. You will not want to put this book down, just to see who makes it out alive!
Written in both Tonio’s and Megan’s POV it gives you an insight and the real feelings for the character that brings you into the story.
I am pleased to see that Amy is writing Mobster’s Angel, Vito and Erin’s story : )
God I love this author!!!! This is a superb series. I loved Antonio and Megan's journey. The story is fantastic but I wish it would be a little steamier. The only person I don't like was Erin. She was such a basket case. Megan, despite her age, is very levelheaded and strong. Erin's age really worries me though because she just turned 16 and acts so immature. But, I am crazy about Vito. I wish he was my boyfriend. I can't wait for Erin and Vito's story. I hope its long or spans more than one book like Megan and Antonio. If you have not read the Mobster series, I cannot recommend it enough!!! Read this series!!!
I have to say I'm somewhat disapointed I expected this book to be more romantic like the others in this series. And it was somewhat irritating that there was no official proposal to Megan although it is clear they were going ring shopping towards the end of the book.
I was surprised when Megan demonstrated such skill at the gun range and it put a smile on my face to know she was going to be more involved in Antonio's life, not being the weak link, and being able to protect herself.
It's been awhile since I've read a monsters book & it has been too long! I missed Antonio & Megan. It took a little bit to get adjusted back to the authors writing style but the story was captivating. Cudos that Megan has a mobster type talent & neither she nor her sister are under her mothers thumb anymore. I know Erin's story is next but I'm hoping this isn't the end of the romance between these two.
This has been a really good series, but this last book just didn't wow me the way the first book did. There was nothing wrong with the book, and I'm glad it gave us some closure and tied up some loose ends, and I really like Megan and Antonio as a couple. I just wish there had been a little more emotion perhaps. Oh well, but this is a very good series overall and i do recommend it, and I'm looking forward to reading her sister's story!
So far this is my favorite all all the Mobster Series. I love how the things go with Megan and Antonio..Their story was great, just the way I liked and I'm nit disappointed on how it ended! One of the things that blows my mind was Erin and Vito.. Gah!! Can't wait on what will happen in this two.
I have fallen in love with all the characters from this series. Amy manages o give you a bit of everything. Suspense, action, romance. I'm so glad Megan is being bad-ass, she's a great strong female character. Tonio Is very alpha male. I love all men Patrick is an interesting guy. I can't wait until "Mobster's Angel" is released its a certain someone's book and I'm so excited about it. :)
Perfect. I love Megan and Antonio so much it hurts. I love how absolute they are in their decisions, how they accept the deck of cards life hands them and how perfect they are for each other. I was really hoping for an epilogue 10 years down the road but there is still Mobster's Angel!
