What a sweet story of a dog that has quirks and yet is loved unconditionally. Teaches in a simple way that we all can be accepted as we are. I loved this book so much that I sent copies to local animal shelters.

Very sweet book. I think everyone has known a dog with a bit of Max in them. It's a book that makes you smile. My granddaughter loves it. The illustrations are simple, colorful, and delightful!
