personally i loved this book because i ride dirt bikes and i have known Travis pastrana since i was just a little kid i was watching videos of him and stuff so this book meant a lot because the book does a good job of teaching that life dosent always go as planned and he had to work really hard to get to where he is now. This book talks a lot about how Travis got hurt and how it effected him and it also talked about the good experiences and how he countered them. Travis pastranas book also has a good title the big jump it just shows in the book how big of a jump it was to get where he is now. this book relates to me a lot cause ive always wanted to be a professional dirt bike rider and be famous from it. I loved this book because it hooked me in from the start and showed how he had to start from the bottom and try try try to get to the top and i shows how much hard work it takes. this book is one of my favorites i would recommend this book to anyone who rides dirt bikes whether its for fun or just to do it.

This book was an autobiography that was about his life and career that he went through it is about 176 pages with exciting parts and intense racing that you will love about this book. The was him and his friends that made it funny and good he made it go through detail in the racing parts. al lot of his friends were with him out there on the track racing with each other which made it so great.

I was familiar with Travis Pastrana before reading his book. I have followed his career for as long as I can remember and was excited to see what he really had to say about his life and career.

I had viewed him as a really cool person, which had achieved a lot in life. As I began reading I found how he was interesting in the way he did everything in his life. That made it fun to read through the book as he taught you a lot of thing that were cool. He also gave you some tips on how to do things and how to be the best of the best at things.

I found him to more intelligent then I thought he was as an Action Sports Star. althrough they did some scary stuff. like backflip into the San Fansicco bay after he won his first x games medal. He told of many stories that helped shape his life and those around him. He found ways to balance his everyday life while still being in the spotlight that has success brought him.

I found this to be a very well written book with plenty of life stories to make interesting to read as well as learning a lot about Travis Pastrana. This book tells you that there is much more to your typical motocross, supercross, freestyle athlete. It has become a full time job and career for most of these guys carrying over into life after motocross.

The Big Jump: The Tao of Travis Pastrana, is a very interesting book. Through out the book you learn about Travis's life from when he was a young child to a grown man. You get to see what Travis's life is like not only from his prospective, but from many other people's prospective such as his mom and dad. This book shows you how hard it is to do what Travis does for a living because he gets injured all the time performing stunts he knows he might not make. However, that does not stop Travis from doing what he loves to do. I recommend this book to everyone, especially people who are in to motorcross. Not only is this book inspiring, it is also very funny.

This book is very much in Travis’s voice. It leads it to be only personal at times, but also really funny. Some of my favorite parts in the book are the little notes on the side either from Travis himself, friends, colleagues, or parents. It gives a reader a different point of view of what it’s like living his life. The book goes over everything from his beginning in racing, schooling, injuries, and his stunts he have done. If you are in to Motocross you should read it. Great book!!

This book was really interesting because it gives insight into the mind of Travis Pastrana. You see what inspires some of his crazy stunt ideas and also get a glimpse into the philosophy that drives him to do these things. :)
