BlaQue began writing after reading several Donald Goines books and decided she would love to pen stories in the same gritty, fast-paced manner. After writing her first novel Dirty DNA and allowing several of her peers to read and critique her work, she decided to submit it to G Street Chronicles where in July 2012, she joined the ranks of some of the heaviest hitting authors in Urban Literature.
To date BlaQue has written across several genres, including erotic, street lit, thrillers and contemporary fiction including a highly anticipated collaboration with NeNe Capri entitled Diamonds, Pumps & Glocks.
Recently BlaQue started her own publishing companies, Pink Angel Publications (2014) and Fade 2 BlaQue Ink (2016) where she now self-publishes her own work. BlaQue is a jack of all trades and recently took on the role as agent to some high profiled clients.

BlaQue has done it again! My girl has penned another hit!! I couldn't put this book down, it was soooo good. It was a page turner that whenever my eyes got tired and just had to close, I would dream about this 5 Star Banga, and would wake up to see what was going to happen next! If you've been sleeping on Dirty DNA, then just pick it up. I promise you won't sleep again until you finish it! BlaQue took the Clayton-Reynolds family on a ride from start to finish. YaYa tried to hold her own and run the family business, but there is a jealous someone out there trying to stop her flow! Will they stop her? Oh how I would love to tell you, but you will have to read and find out. In this story, the man that can get is Dread. He's the man with the goods that can get it! I won't give up the storyline, but I will say that was ticked at the end. All I got to say is NiQue better get a beat down or better yet be put out of commission in Till Death Do Us Part. That Detective Gatsby needs to sit himself down. After all he is does have a few loose screws of his own. I hope Neko doesn't let all that money cloud his judgment and stays focus and finds out who did all this dirt to his family. Will it be someone with the same DNA? Go ahead and grab your copy, you won't be sleeping until you find out! BlaQue Angel....job well done! Keep writing and I'll keep reading em!!

Let me first start out saying that G Street is doing their thing. This was my second time reading from author Blaque and again she did a great job with her first full length novel.
In this novel we meet YaSheema Clayton aka YaYa, she is one woman not to be messed with. Growing up in a family of money shes use to getting what she wants and how she wants it. Her father is a big time boss, he is heavily involved in the drug game and is teaching YaYa the ropes so that when it is her turn she can take over the family business. YaYa makes sure she takes everything in so that she can advance she is a take no crap kind of chick and is willing to do anything to make sure that she is respected and so is her family. What happens one day when the world as you know it is just turned upside down and somethings are just not as they seem?
This book had me on edge at so many parts, I couldnt believe what was going on. Sex, lies and deceit is all throughout this book. Lies are going to be told, to protect people and secrets very big ones are going to be revealed. There are twist and turns that you may not see coming. The author does a really good job connecting the characters to the readers. You get a feel for what the character is about and you feel someone connected to them when things are going on with them. The author did a great job writing this book and you can tell she took her time doing so.
So much is going to happen and with a family like this who needs enemies. Follow YaYa on her journey to uncover many secrets that are burried deep down and as she uncover life was not as it seemed.
I really enjoyed I give the book 4.5 stars and I recommend it for people to read and I cant wait for Part 2 to see what is going to happen next.

Yasheema, known in the streets as YaYa, is a daddy's girl. She was bred by her father, the big boss Darnell Clayton, to not just be a pretty face. She is a bonafide hustler.
YaYa has a best friend named ShaNiqua and they have been best buddies since they were babies.
ShaNiqua has plenty of secrets and is jealous of her best friend YaYa but not for the reasons that may seem obvious.
YaYa’s life starts to fall apart around her and she is losing people left and right and she does not know who is out to get her and why. Once she finds out the real reason she is being chased and hounded, will it be too late for her to make amends?
BlaQue’s “Dirty DNA” is a page turner and it draws you in with each chapter. There is never a dull moment in this book. I think the characters are well developed and it does a good job of leaving you in suspense and wanting more. I can’t wait for part 2. This author did a great job with this book.

WOW! Just when you think this story of family drama couldn't possibly get better, BlaQue turns up the intensity. Murder, deception, and money are at the center of YaYa and her father's lives...add in a brother she never knew of, a mother addicted to crack cocaine who hates her, and a best friend who is definitely more than meets the eye, and the plot is even thicker. When YaYa comes of age and steps into position as the commander of her father's army, she quickly learns that her life is on a path of crime and profit. What she didn't count on was the betrayal of those who were most loyal, most knowledgeable, and most capable of crumbling the empire Darnell Clayton worked so diligently to build.

I just finished reading this and I must say this book was GREAT...I enjoyed every last word. Blaque did he thang on this book. Never would have believed it would have ended the way it did. I must say she kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen next. While reading this book it was as if i was watching a movie that how awesome it was. I keep thinking in each chapter i was gonna know what happen i could not predict the outcome...Blaque kept me on my toes and wondering what in the world was gonna happen next. Thanks Blaque for not making this a typical and predictable story for us to enjoy. Waiting patiently for Dirty DNA 2. Keep that pimp pen coming !!!!!

"Dirty DNA" was a fast read for me. At first it took me a while to get into it, but once I did, I didn't put it down until I finished. It was a twisted tale full of drama, action, lies and deceit and made for an entertaining read. Perhaps, I read too many urban fiction books, but I wasnt surprised by the ending. However, I'm still very eager to read the follow up to this story to see how it all plays out.

First I want to say I recommend ALL of BlaQue's books!!! This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I kept wondering who could you really trust in this story? Everybody was suspect to me...it was driving me crazy trying to figure out who was the REAL enemy! And then the ending had me blown away...WOW!!! I'm so excited to find out what happens in part 2! BlaQue is becoming one of my favorites:)

BlaQue…BlaQue…BlaQue! Don't put that pen down because readers are gonna want more!! I loved the flow of this story…no stone was left unturned. The action was off the top and this family DID NOT PLAY! You brought the characters' personalities to life so good that I could hear their voices! All I can say now is…bring on Part 2!!! Fantastic job! ~BOSS LADI

Tanya Tory My, my, my, Blque did the do on this one!!! I couldn't believe how low down and dirty this book could get!! There was so much action, lust, deception,revenge, suspense, jealousy you name it, it was here in this action pack. I will definitely wait for part 2 to hit because it can't get any better!! I truely enjoyed it from the first page all the way to the end

I'm not sure what happened to my review but this was my introduction to BlaQue and let me tell you, she's ruthless with the pen!! Pick up any of her work and you won't be disappointed. Oh yea, tell a friend cause she brings that heat.

wow this book right here!!!! I could not put it down. ya ya was a beast. she didn't dezerve to suffer because of her fathers sin. this book kept me up and reading until the wee hours. I think that this would make a good short flim someday.

The story was awesome. I didn't like the timeline of it and also it had some grammar errors. Other than that it was a good read for me. Looking forward to reading some more books by this Author.

This book was just dumb..
Its really not good writing. The author clearly just saw a few movies and tried to write a book. A few friends and I got all 3 books and none of us want to finish. If book 1 set the bar than this may prove to be the worst week of reading for us ever. Waste of money and time.

Ending was not what I expected. Who Pajay was I figured out the closer it got to the end. All in all a good read.
