This book reads like an academic problem-solving book, covering a lot of traditional philosophies and approaches. Many of the techniques covered in the book are foundational for newer ones that incorporate more brain science and research. The more techniques you are aware of, the more you'll find what works for you, so I would recommend this book to expose yourself to different ideas. But don't stop with this book.
