While outdated, Tivnan's The Lobby is still an amazing introductory work to better understand the power the Israel Lobby has over American foreign policy. He is extremely honest, too, and does not try to sugarcoat the disturbing reality of a system where congressmen are, for lack of a better term, bribed to vote for taxpayer-funded genocide. Truth is not only stranger than fiction; it is also more horrifying.
