Will I make my own washi paper? Not a chance. The history was delightful to read, but I think I'll just buy someone else's well made paper products. Will I use some of these paper folding projects? Absolutely. Everyone is getting crane egg boxes for Christmas this year, for sure.

Making Washi paper may not be for the random crafter.
Interesting projects are shared, a number to multi crane models.
My favorites are 'Crane's Egg Modular Box' pg 85
The photo seems to show an opening, but I can't figure out how that happens.
and 'Wallet or Clutch Purse' pg 82

A brief history and some very basic projects with pretty pictures. Would probably make a good workshop book but it's not detailed enough for learning papermaking on your own.

Thus should likely go in the DNF list but I did technically skim the last whatever amount before giving up. a bit too dry for me and not what I'm looking for in non-fiction. Plus for this sort of thing there aims YouTube.
