Lockdown: System Corrupted

Rate this book
David and James go into work night after night to a private prison where little ever happens out of the ordinary. Nothing that is until a new inmate arrives to serve his sentence after murdering his family. After bounty hunters take him down and bring him to justice, providing a new opportunity for prisoners being used by the men that are supposed to uphold the system, David and James find their lives turned upside down as they fight to survive the worst prison riot in history. There is little that anyone on the outside can do to help the outnumbered guards except to hope and pray that they make it through the longest night of their lives. Who will survive the graveyard shift when hell breaks loose?

This was awful. I can't believe I wasted an hour reading it....

This poor guy needs an editor in the worst way.
On page 1, the "hero" (I think) is handcuffed to something, yet wandering the halls on page 2....Huh? Page 3, he's pretty sure he doesn't have a concussion...and on page 4 he too dizzy to walk any further...Huh?

Okay, I can handle the occasional inconsistency. Maybe it gets better...

Nope...it didn't. While I'm not a member of the grammar police, the author's writing style really began to grate on me by page 10. His run-on (and on) sentences and ramblings left me wondering just what he was trying to say.

Then the "spellcheck" errors started. Ex: They "road" their motorcycles.... It was too much for me.

By page 33, David (? hero) had proven to be too sophomoric for my taste and that's where I gave up.
