This was a nice meditation. It's amazing what you can learn when you listen without prejudice. If I can do that with something labeled "Magick" then there is hope for me yet & maybe the world.
Cassandra Eason’s “Magic Workshop” is quite elementary, and especially for people who are new to magical practice. Prior to actually listening to this audio, I thought that it was odd that so many previous reviews called it a guided meditation. But let me tell you, those people were spot on!
The combination of the author’s soft, British accent and the flowing magical-like music literally had me nodding off at 18%. And at least for me, that’s a good thing because I tend towards insomnia. Eason could make a killing making witchcraft-themed guided meditations.
Nice little audiobook to help center yourself and cast a little spell . Good points on how magick is give and take . For the universe to reward you, you must in turn give back. Very soothing music and time to focus on your intent. Step by step instructions for casting a simple spell. Great for solitaires or newbies.
Not bad! This is a good introductory walk-through of working a spell. Eason discusses the why's and wherefore's regarding casting magick in a way that's simple for the beginning witch to understand. I am adding this to my recommended list for my intro-level students. (a good listen for all levels, really; sometimes it's good to get back to the basics).
I really enjoy what I've listened to of hers. Well written, easy to implement daily magic if you're into that, which I am. It feels very grounded, earthy and a way to be present and centered day to day, from a magical POV. Loved it.
