They come to our aid when we least expect it, and they disappear as soon as their work is done. Invisible helpers are available to all of us. In fact, we all regularly receive messages from our guardian angels and spirit guides, but usually fail to recognize them. This book will help you to realize when this occurs. And when you carry out the exercises provided, you will be able to communicate freely with both your guardian angels and spirit guides.
This book was a mixed bag. Some interesting stories, some good advice and some bad and confusing advice. Take everything in this book with a grain of salt, compare with other sources, and use your own discernment.
I'm less than satisfied with the credibility of Mr. Webster's information, as well as the credibility of his personal experiences. His information on spirit guides contradicts other sources; for ex. he says that spirit guides are loved ones who have passed on. Other sources state that spirit guides are not loved ones who have passed on. He suggests techniques for reaching spirit guides such as ouija board use, which is not recommended by other sources. He suggests that anyone can become a medium, while some would argue that mediumship is bestowed. Beyond the content, his writing style is not compelling.
I really enjoyed this book and all the great information it gives BUT there was a lot of religious talk which is really a turn off for me. I am still searching to find good books of this nature that don’t quote scripture and talk of their God that created the universe. I found myself skipping pages and rolling my eyes at these parts and also at the somewhat tacky ways that are suggested to make contact with your spirit helpers. These ways are suggested as if all you need to do is get a Ouija board and sit back. This is my personal opinion, but I just don’t believe that some of these suggestions are responsible. Aside from this though, the book truly is a wealth of good information. With so many people being of different spiritual backgrounds and beliefs, we all just need to pick and choose the parts we take in and the parts we skim over and leave behind. This is a wonderful book for the basics on angels and spirit guides and welcoming them into your life.
This book gave me concrete pieces of information on which I could build on. It got me to start paying attention and taking responsibility for what was/is going on around me. It opened a lot of doors.
This book kept my attention throughout and I learned so much. I feel sonics like a better person with the new outlook on the world I have now. It is amazing how much I understand things and how I can communicate with some of my guides. Great book, I tagged pages.
I enjoyed the book because of the Bible references. It made me feel more at ease reading about this topic. Let's face it, angels are all around us, but the part that I'm a little hesitant on is there are good and bad Angel's. Knowing this, makes me a little reluctant to reach our to them. I'd rather continue my prayers to God, Mary, and the saints. Learn more about the four main angels, and move forward with my life knowing more about them. This book has a lot of resources to validate it's validity, which makes me feel more confident to believe. As far as trying to locate my spirit guide, I don't think I will do that. If he/she wants me to see and know them, it will happen.
I read this book for research. It discusses a wide variety of relationships between living human beings and heavenly bodies, spirits both entirely heavenly (angels) and those who have previously lived on earth (spirit guides). On a personal level I found it difficult to accept entirely the communication techniques described between Earth and spirits, but the information is a good resource and I was able to obtain some useful notes. My biggest problem with the book is that a statement is made followed by an experience that does not really give factual evidence of the statement. For that reason I found descriptions less than convincing.
This book is packed with information that could severely be useful for those looking to get in touch with their spirit guides & guardian angels. It has a lot of exercises and meditations to try and help you become acquainted with them. I'm going to keep this book so I can look back & try to incorporate techniques into my own life.
Not real impressed. Presented debunked info as true (example: the Fox sisters admitted they were frauds, but no mention in book or in notes). Others reviews mentioned religious leanings, but I did not find them to be too much. Best parts: working with archangels and guardian angels using numerology, colors, crystals, astrology, elements. Still, there are better books on the subject out there.
This book encompasses everything you need to know and how to contact your angels, spirited, spirit guides etc. I recommend it to anyone who is new to the subject or looking to broaden his or her interest in it.
This is a very pleasant book to read, explaining the different kinds of spirit guides, angels, snd nature spirits. I will recommend it to my granddaughters.
The author has penned many books on related ”occult” subjects. I found this one ok, but not brilliant. I didn’t get to contact any angels or spirit guides, but I did feel a shift in that I now feel I can and eventually will obtain contact with these, and that is a good start.
The book is divided into two parts, the first on angel guardians and the second on spirit guides. In Part One we are provided with information about the history of angels and about seven Archangels. These are Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Sariel and Remiel. I missed Ariel. Metatron is also mentioned. He was originally a human being, Enoch, who was transformed into an angel. The author refers to him as “King of the Angels”. We’re also told about the “Queen of Angels”. The Virgin Mary. This must be the one I know as Mother Mary, but Webster doesn’t mention this appellation.
We are given useful instructions on how to invoke the Archangels.
We’re told that our guardian angels will communicate to us through our thoughts and feelings, our intuition and our dreams. Though I’ve asked many times, I have never seen or heard from my guardian angel in my dreams. I did once in my youth get a sudden knowing of something I had to do, which I did, and this turned out to save my life and that of others too. This was perhaps my guardian angel, though I didn’t know that at the time.
One chapter that I didn’t appreciate was about how to create your guardian angel if you can’t contact it by the other methods mentioned. The author suggested that angels were just thoughtforms and therefore we could create one. This may be so, but I didn’t like the idea. I like to regard the angels as real.
We learn which Archangels correspond to our star signs. Michael rules over Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, Gabriel over Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, Raphael over Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, and Uriel over Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. The author gives us four methods by which to call the Archangels to us. He doesn’t suggest that these also are thought forms, but I expect he thinks they are, since they also are angels,
He provides us with a prayer by which we can help heal others. It reads “May the healing power of Jesus Christ descend upon (person’s name) and may the holy angels encompass him (or her)”. This prayer activates Raphael and the other healing angels to come to the person’s aid.
Part One contains several additional interesting chapters, including one on creating an angel altar.
In Part Two of the book we learn about spirit guides, which the author tells us are people who have passed over into the next life. They are here to help and guide us when we ask for advice. We should ask for help only when it is really necessary.
Spirit guides are usually, but not always, deceased relatives. I feel it would be nice to know who these are, and how many we have.
Much information is provided about spiritualism, including about the Fox sisters and the famous medium Daniel Dunglas Home.
A chapter about ways to contact spirit guides contains sections about planchettes and Ouija boards, automatic writing, table-tipping, using a pendulum, etc. In other books we are warned about using Ouija boards for fear of picking up negative spirits. (In my youth a friend did so and couldn’t get rid of it again.) I will try automatic writing again myself.
In automatic writing the pen “moves over the page directed by a power other than the conscious mind of the person holding it”.
I did find this book worth reading, but just not particularly exciting. The author provides various useful exercises and pieces of advice which could help us in our quest for contact with our angel guardians and spirit guides,
Every has an Angel to protect and watch over them. this book shows you how to communicate with your Angels and Spirit guides. This is a great great book, very interesting!
