Great potential wasted for bad writing style and formatting.
I got the novel as a free kindle ebook.
This story had great potential and I liked the premises at the root but the writing is atrocius and the formatting really bad too.
The sentences are too short and chopped it seems to read a grocery list, they are often incomprensible and then almost always I had to re-read to understand who was speaking and who is being referred to.
This didn't make me get completly into the story even if I really wanted to.
I got an headache after the first page. By the way I keep reading hoping in a formatting and writing improvement. Hopes not fulfilled.

Fallon's behavior and insecurities are not well explained but now I see there's a previous book about her and Abner so I think it's all said and clearified there, therefore if you don't read book 1 do not even try book 2 if you decide to still give them a chance.

The story is a 3/4 stars for its potential but all got wasted due to the bad writing style and formatting.
