Turning the lens back on the photographer: The Edward Curtis Project is a fantastic look at how we confine people to specific images we hold of them, prodding appropriation, white guilt, and showcasing the resilience of Indigenous Peoples. I would have liked a little more time to get to know each character--because most are double-cast, I think the culmination of roles is supposed to give us a fuller story, which works to an extent. Absolutely gorgeous images, both written and visual.
