Jeremy Scott is a penname for Kay Dick. The book's title is really "Hunted." (no "the")
This book was written in 1981. The writing is spectacular. Really.
the descriptions are unbelievable, about both place and emotions.
I was enthralled for 2/3 of the book. Couldn't wait to get back to it.
But alas, the last third, following Nigel around in his travails, which of
course we knew he'd get out of, was tiresome, especially for an ending that didn't pay off.
Very disappointing.
