Rate this book
The original intent of this book was to list the descendants of Michael Meyer of Hochstadt, Germany who came to this country. It was to include the usual array of documents, etc. It now contains over 650 pages that just list the descendants and contains copies of very few documents. The book is organized as family groups, done in order the first child's family, and then the eldest grand child's family and so on. In order to organize a beginning, the first chapter introduces Michael, his children and grandchildren, the grandchildren being generation 3. From there, each chapter is devoted to the family and descendants of one of the grandchildren. There are 31 grandchildren. Family groups are organized into name, birth & birthplace, date of baptism and church, spouse, marriage date, list of children by date of birth, date of death, special notes about family, information on spouse, other miscellaneous family information. Includes appendixes and is indexed.
