Finally finished this series!!

Overall, I'm satisfied with this story. Before the last arc, the Parko & Dangerers part was interesting and reminiscent of the movie The Warriors (1979).

Just when I thought this series was just endless fighting, the author, in my opinion, gives a clue to the readers (whose target audience is high school students) to figure out what they want to become after graduating high school.

In this series, the author also tries to teach living honestly and avoiding a life of crime (for example, becoming a Yakuza), by depicting the mindset of some characters to find a proper livelihood after graduating high school.

Well, that's what I got from this manga. Goodbye, Crows.

Thank you, Hiroshi Takahashi, for inspiring young people!

As a new delinquent manga enjoyer, Crows was the second one i’ve read and oh God what did i put myself into. At first i didn’t know what to expect, the art and the story was silly, but then it got to a point where it’s just the same boring scenario but with different characters and THE CHARACTERS ALMOST LOOK THE SAME, i literally couldn’t memorize any names except Harumichi’s gang, there was an arc where everybody was suddenly blonde i couldn’t even recognize Harumichi anymore. Oh and he’s supposed to be the MC ??? Let’s talk about the fights: I was expecting some memorable, epic fights (vu que Crows is like the blueprint of this genre I think??) oh boy, the author didn’t even bother with them lol. It’s like they announce the two people who’ll fight, then skip to a random student shouting the winner’s name or just saying “OMG a rumor’s saying that flenn fought flenn”. I only remember Harumichi being in 3 fights i think ?? The glasses guy from the front of armament, Rinda-man and the last guy (volume 24) and none of them were good or memorable as i said earlier. There were too many characters for such a short manga (but the chapters felt sooo long, it took me 4 months to finish this atrocity). Almohim I hated it mais it was also fun in a way, I started not caring after volume 9, but had to finish it because I was curious how the author will end it. Even the end didn’t satisfy me. But the art is good, nothing much to say.

This ending has me conflicted. I thought the last few chapters were a great capstone to all the characters…except the most important one. It almost feels like a cop out to have Harumichi get held back a year but I guess not everyone knows what their calling in life is
