They thought they could ignore me? I closed my eyes, grabbed the cords that stretched between us all with mental fists of fury, and sent a shouted mental command down the lines to all my mates as I also yelled the words, “HAREM, ASSEMBLE!”
Thank you, Merri Bright, for giving us more of Feather, her soulmates, Best Birch Forever Sunny, and Precious! This was such a fun and easy read with humor, smut, and a bit of teenage angst. I devoured it and even found myself tearing up occasionally when I wasn’t shaking the bed with laughter.
This is not an all-out love fest, but you will find the makings ofa sex club the Merge 2.0 and the fulfillment of more of Feather’s fantasies.
If you have not read The Forgotten Angel trilogy, you will be lost, so read that first before getting this glimpse into the future (it’s my all-time favorite PNR romance, so I highly recommend it).
We are treated to glimpses of Precious’ future. Visions of the woman she will become and the trials she must pass. I look forward to seeing Precious get her turn in the spotlight. Write faster, Merri!

This novella was something I didn't know I need it until Merri gave us those smalls scenes, this is part of the "Forgotten Angel" Trilogy and if you haven't read it yet , you MUST stop everything you are doing and go and read it...NOW!!
We are introduced to a grown up moody Precious as a teenager, if a normal teenager is already just a ball of anxiety, angst and drama now imagine being the only one of your kind in a place were everyone is the opposite to you, your only friend is a humongous dog and the crew that forms all your parental figures, are literal heroes on this small world of yours . That is what our little devil has to live trough and poor choices are made giving her parents a hard time trying their hardest to teach her a lesson while making sure things do not fall apart a the same time, and if we throw a bit of broken hearts in the mix, unrequired love always makes everything a bit more spicy no?
Merri doesnt fail in making sure the crumbles she gives us in previous books that were overseen as just regular dialogue take a deeper meaning on her next books, and that is what is happening here, a lot of those few phrases are taking a different route and we are here for the ride!
Also what is happening there with Precious, Percy, the Void and where is Rebel?!.... I think some of us are already making whack theories.
P.S. I want to be a cool mom like Feather and Sunny.... one just needs to find the correct harem to be the bad cops.

Such a great insight story in Feather's life after so many years have passed. It was a really amazing experience seeing them all together and what they are up to right now and how the Little Devil PRECIOUS doing. It’s always fascinating to see how their story has moved forward and shaped into a beautiful life. This one was like a stepping stone for PRECIOUS’s background and the feelings she is facing and the scenario is developing. A little mystery is created around her and I am looking forward to her story now with very keen interest.
Read this book only after you have read THE FORGOTTEN ANGEL Trilogy.

June 29, 2023Have you ever fallen in love with a story, and when it was over, wished you could make it last longer? I often have, but I’ve never been in a position to do anything about it.
Some days, it’s good to be the author.
I missed Feather so much, I couldn’t stop thinking about her, and writing snippets to keep in touch with her voice and humor. I told myself I was only trying to flesh out Precious’s storyline for her forthcoming book, but when I looked down at my laptop? I had 25,000 words of funny, slightly steamy, new material - and almost all of it was Feather’s story of motherhood.
Glittering Feather is a gift to myself and to the readers who fell in love with glitter and smut along with me. It’s a bridge (or a gate?) between Feather’s and Precious’s worlds, and I hope you enjoyed stepping back into the dream.

Forgotten Angel Dipped in Glitter
Okay so I really really hope we get Persh’s full story soon! I absolutely adored Feathers entire story!
I have never seen a series done so well where we get attached to so many people and yet there’s a happy ending that’s left so open ended! Our original FMC Feather is a bad ash but she didn’t ALWAYS start that way nor did she run through the series super OP’d or even act like she was. No, we witness many main and side characters get their moments to shine fully.
I really hope Merri writes and releases Precious’s story super soon! This was such a tease! But gave amazing background for us to take off from here with a story, I really thought it would end with her running away to earth or the abyss or even sanctuary (if it’s still remains at all)
I do have a few theories on who her love interests are going to be and I hope I’m right!
Spoilers but also not really since we have no idea but her name has “Beloved by all realms” in it so I’m assuming she will have a mate from each realm.
Sanctuary- Revel
Limen- Percy
Celestial- Imri
Void- void boy (please don’t be Valor)
Abyss- Az (The voice that Feather heard that was evil)
Earth- No idea but could be interesting 👀
But that’s six men so maybe she won’t get one from earth? But honestly I think our girl Merri could make six men work wonderfully!
I’m going to check in randomly to see when she publishes Precious’s story! I can’t wait for Percy to grovel! I hope she runs away and he goes through his own torment also please can we have Adoration suffer a death or something?? I thought our people were supposed to be all loving but maybe they need a real spiritual cleanse with no comeback!

lord I thought this novella would be all hehe and haha’s yet hear i am with my heart broken for my main birch feather. it amazes me how merri can give us a good laugh and break our hearts at the same time. I am looking forward to precious’s story but damn that doesn’t mean I’m not hurt.
this is a bridging novella so there’s not much to say about it besides that it opens the door for the next series to behind rather seamlessly. but for the love of all angel, merri please let my birch’s daughter love her 😭 precious needs to love her before it’s too late to be able to…her mother is little sacrifice after all.

Thinking you know it all
Feather is back only with her story complete, we are now getting into her daughters story Precious. And I cannot wait for more!!!!
Do you remember growing up, being a teenager, your first crush and first heartache? Precious is at THAT stage in life. Hating herself more than anything, wanting to be someone different. And when you have a loving mother who changed your entire kind and four doting dads who think the world of you, it can be a lot to live up to.
Everyone knows that Precious's future is not with them. They know she will be leaving soon and are not ready for it to be now. The Void is calling her. What they know of the Void is not good, will it be good to their baby girl? When the Void's call becomes stronger, will they be enough to deter it for Precious? Will she still remain who she is or will the Void change her to something else?
I cant wait to find out!
This little novella was a perfect insight to seeing Precious grow up and see how she interreacts with the Void. I have a feeling we will definitely see more of Perception, but for now, I also want him to hurt for hurting our girl! lol.

pretty decent bridge for Precious’s story.
This story is a great bridge between Feathers story and the beginning of Precious’s story. It wasn’t Amazing, where I felt like I NEEDED to know what was next, so I am glad that it wasn’t that long.
We got to know Precious as a teenager, and basically witness Feather and her guys living their happily ever after with their daughter Precious. It broke me to read Precious’s self discrimination on herself. She reminds me of Feather in her first story a little bit. I can’t wait to read what’s next. I kinda hope that the Protector (I can’t remember who it was) that she kissed turns out to be Precious, just like Righteous and their start of their relationship. It was rocky, and Righteous was aghast that he kissed Feather back with all the smut she had on her. I feel like the Protectors vehemence was a bit false, and maybe he was lying to himself because he was defending himself against Precious’s parents. Maybe it’s the start of Precious’s harem, Void Boy and that Protector. I can’t wait to read what’s next in Precious’s life.

The author is very open about this, but just another heads up that you absolutely shouldn’t read this story unless you’ve read the previous Feather books, because it simply won’t make sense.
However, I strongly recommend you read that fantastic series, and then enjoy this story. I’m still amazed at the gift this author has with writing in such a way that she connects directly with the reader’s heart. In this short story, I literally laughed out loud several times. I also had tears in my eyes at other moments, and also felt utterly seen and empathised with as a parent to tween-age children.
I went into this book unsure how I’d cope with an “older Precious”, and with other beloved characters maturing in their emotions and relationships. However, I should have had more faith! The progression felt natural and organic, and I connected (and re-connected) quickly and easily with all the familiar characters. I hadn’t recently re-read previous Feather books, but was able to easily jump in.
I can’t wait for what comes next!!

Merri Bright did it again! I honestly don't know how she does it, but she manages to make every book in Feather's story both heartbrakingly sad and hilariously funny. And she does that in a way it truly fits and creates a very touching story.
"Glittering Feather" is a novella in "The Forgotten Angel" series and only makes sense if you've read the previous books (Feather's complete triology). Seriously, this book will just sound like you're on a very weird trip otherwise. But if you read the rest of the series, you will love reading about Feather as a mom, and her men as fathers, trying to do the best they can with a highly intelligent adolescent that's struggling with being the only one of her kind. Seriously, my heart broke for the poor young girl, and how much hurt she's carying with her.
Something tells me her story will be epic, and maybe an even bigger emotional rollercoaster compared to Feather's story. I can't wait for all the emotional damage that's yet to come!

I had a hard time getting into this one, and had to force myself not to skim at times. I don’t know why exactly, but my theory is that since I was expecting it to be more about Precious, I was a bit put off that it focused more (POV-wise, not entirely storywise) on the original characters. For me, their storyline was done already and I wasn’t *that* interested in seeing more about their life since it was talked about pretty extensively in the original trilogy for me personally.
I’d also hoped they’d be better parents in a way, I felt like they’d dropped the ball with Precious. And that’s a great set-up for her story, but made me disappointed about the original characters. I think I would’ve liked this one better if it’d be less of the original characters and more of Precious’s.
But the writing was on par with the other books, so it definitely wasn’t a writing issue, more a me-issue 😝.

More, more, more! This novella was like opening a tub of pringles, once I started I couldn't stop and still wanted more when it finished 😁 It seems Precious's story is gonna be as good as Feathers, if not better and I cannot wait to see how it unfolds.
All the characters that you love from the Forgotten Angel trilogy make an appearance and of course their hilarious banter ensues, as well as genius one liners, innuendos and steamy scenes.
Merri does the comedy aspect of her stories perfectly and then throws in the rest of emotions in to keep you on your toes. One minute you put yourself in the parents shoes and are feeling the worry of how to make things right but then your angry, frustrated and sad along with Precious and her teenage angst. She captures the rollercoaster of emotions perfectly through the characters words and actions and I loved it, what a ride!

Returning to this world, felt like a breath of fresh air that I didn’t know I needed. The humor, the family, the found family, and everything that encompasses this universe.
I’m so excited to finally get the story of this young being that was not supposed to exist, but does and what her story will entail. I think that we’re really going to see this great struggle between good and evil and what does good really mean? And what does evil really mean?
There were times reading this when I felt so frustrated with this character but I think that’s the point… Because she’s struggling and we struggle with her. I think the series will really develop this character in such an interesting way. I absolutely cannot wait!

What a hectic and chaotic mess! Just kidding. If you're familiar with the Lost Feather universe, you'll love this sneakpeek into Feather and the gang as parents. I am not a parent myself, but even I felt the growing pains that Feather and the others are having to deal with now that Precious (our soon-to-be Main Character of her own story) is an angsty teen.
This novella has a bit of everything, emotional connection, spice, witty banter, and a fun kick-start to re-introduce the Lost Feather universe to new and old readers. It's a quick, fun read and not to be missed.

This little novella packed a lot into it! It picks up after the events of Rising Feather, and the whole gang is struggling with the trials of parenting a moody teenager. Poor Precious is going through it! She is struggling to find herself and where she fits and has all the teenage emotions to go with it.
This bridging novella is meant to set the stage for Precious’s story. I am so excited to see where this goes. I have many questions and can’t wait to see her find her place.
If you haven’t read the Forgotten Feather series, you should; it is a smutty golden retriever energy RH that was so much fun to read.
I can’t wait to see what’s next for Precious and her family!

Precious, Perfect Devil, Little Glitter, First and Only of Her Kind, Beloved By All Realms has reached her terrible teens. Feather’s demonic child is struggling. No one is like her, no one understands her, and most are slightly terrified of her. She’s growing up and wants to replace her loneliness with love.
This was not what I expected! I expected over-the-top ridiculousness. I did get laughs but I also got gut punched. This is a heartfelt read. This Heavenly family is everything. My heart broke several times over for Precious. And for Feather. This is a bridge novella, so now I’m scared about the damage her series will do to me. I want this one-of-a-kind girl to realize how special she is, and to not accidentally destroy the universe!

I absolutely love Feather and her men!! 😍 This novella was such a cute catch up of Feather and everyone but I especially loved getting to know Precious in this story! Precious is your typical teenager in this book, who is struggling but who has strong powers. She is a troublemaker but seems to not want to be that way. We see her struggle with her name and the meaning behind it. At the end of this book I truly feel for Precious and can't wait to see what her future holds. 😁
Aside from Precious, I loved seeing Feather and her men still being in love and happy! 💕 The humor and kinky ness was all still in this book but a little lighter than previous books due to it focusing on Precious more. I highly recommend this cute novella! ❤️

Glitter, glitter everywhere!
I love this story! It's a short, sweet, sassy fantasy with some reverse harem romance. It's not a stand alone, so I recommend reading the other books and short story before diving in. Feather and her daughter, Precious, are the main characters this time, so there's more of the fun, quirks, and bittersweet action. While the Limen is the focus, there's a hint or two about where things are going next.
I especially like the laugh out loud parts and how well they balanced out the angsty teenager parts. Also, most of my favorite things from Feather's adventures are here: kazoos, music, hilarious naming, marshmallows, and - of course - a little smut.
I'm excited to see the next part of this series!

I found Merri's PNR book after reading some of her OV books, and the amazing trilogy reviews didn't disappoint. I was so excited when she mentioned releasing a book following our favorite Feather, her soulmates, Precious, and a few other amazing characters. Like any book containing Feather and her mates, there are plenty of laughs, a few tears, and some fun moments ;). Also, this deserves its own mention, the Merge 2.0 and all the fun things Feather wants to do with her mates.
I know that Precious will be getting her own book, and it will be a crazy ride! We saw Precious as a teenager and it's typical teenager stuff but also, she's very powerful. She's having a bit of a struggle with certain things so I know that Merri is going to showcase everything that happened. It was also great to see how much love is between them all, I may even do a re-read of the trilogy.
If you haven't started the trilogy this story won't make sense, so start there and come back.

It's here!!!!! A short novella that continues Feather and her guys story. Do not read this one without reading the Forgotten Angel trilogy first.
This story continues the often hilarious Feather as she tries to navigate raising her very unique daughter Precious. I loved seeing these characters again. Feather was as funny as always. The guys added more lighthearted moments, but don't worry, there's still plenty of spice.
Precious pulled at my heartstrings. Who can't relate to unrequited love and feeling like an outsider? I can't wait for her full-length story. Overall, it was a fantastic continuation to an amazing series.

It's always so fun to revisit your favorite characters, and that's exactly what Glittering Feather does for us! If you haven't read the other books in this series, you need to do so before you read this novella. This short, but juicy little tidbit is a peek into what's going on in the Limen with a teenage rebellious Precious, a frustrated but still lovable Feather, and the rest of the crew. This novella made me laugh out loud so many times, but also reminded me of how emotional being a teenager was and how hard I probably was on my poor parents! It also sets us up for a spinoff story for Precious and her *fingers crossed* harem, so I'm definitely waiting on clouds and glitter for that!

Glittering Feather by Merri Bright. Oh! How I have missed Feather and her guys so much, so when I say that I was overly excited for this book, I am not kidding. It is a short, sweet and sassy story that I feel wraps everything up beautifully. I love how the main characters are Feather and her precious daughter named Precious. Precious is a teenager who has mixed feelings about how she is leading her life and is struggling with different things.
All and all this was a cute wrap up of one story and a fantastic way to get a little of a backstory for a future series. I can’t wait to see more of Precious’ story, I am ready to dive in.

I love this world; I'm so glad to be back here even only for a few chapters and I only just finished book three last month!
I cannot wait for book four - I'd love to see more from Precious' perspective as she is definitely a unique voice in the story.
I don't want to say too much in order to avoid spoilers but I am 100% waiting for Revel to enter stage left as well as more on the mysterious character Precious dances with which made my heart actually melt. Gavriel is still number one in my heart but he may be knocked off the top spot once I get to know this character!
I cannot wait for book four - I'd love to see more from Precious' perspective as she is definitely a unique voice in the story.

Merri Bright has continued Feather’s story as she navigates raising a teenager born in the Celestial Plane. It was like revisiting those trying teenage years raising a difficult child. Precious is misunderstood and trying as all teenagers do, to find their happiness. She falls in love with the wrong male and gets deeply hurt. Of course there are a lot of one liners that have you breaking out laughing but I find that I am so interested in Spark that I can’t wait for her to continue the story. Enjoy!❤️❤️

Full of everything you have come to expect from our Beautiful Sacrifice best birch, including glitter galore, farting bells, multiple sausages, and 55-gallon tubs of lube.
Reading this felt like meeting up with old friends after not being able to see each other for a while, and was a brilliant introduction to a grown up Precious and her woes, I will definitely reread this novella before Precious’ book is released as a nice way to bring me back into this world and it’s characters.
