When a group of intrepid gold prospectors set up camp at the fork of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers in 1861, they expected to make camp for a night and move on. Instead, they made a town. Lewiston History

Living in Moscow I am always interested in any history of Idaho.
I was very surprised about the vast contribution of the many Lewiston folks that were a benefit to Idaho and the United States.
