NOW LET'S TALK OF GRAVES - VG
Shankman, Sarah - 3rd in series

Beauteous Samantha Adams, Atlanta journalist, visits New Orleans school chum Kitty for Mardi Gras. Sam gains entree to all the privileged parties, but uses her status to question family members about the hit-and-run death of Kitty's brother. She vies for information with handsome (younger) insurance investigator Harry Zack, nephew of Kitty's brother, so an interesting contest--heightened by mutual attraction--develops between the two.

Fun reads.

New Orleans and the 'old family' culture of the South drew me in to this short murder mystery. I have to admit, I'm glad I missed out on a 'coming out' party--too expensive! And who needs all those breakfasts, lunches, dinners and balls! (Okay, I'll admit it, I'd love to experience just one Mardi Gras).

I kept picturing a bunch of Keystone Cops running around while reading this book. Too many people made the story hard to follow.
