This was a short story that turned out to be and enjoyable read.
The characters were likeable and and very intriguing.Who wouldn't be interested in two very hot shifter Dragons right ?
The story is about two Dragon shifters that share one mate.This story was about a loving relationship were two men share the love of one women..The threesome had a loving and caring relationship that was not just about sex you could really see that they all cared about one another and the shifter mates were willing to lay down there life for the women they love.
An intriguing story when the men and there mate act upon there deepest fantasies bringing enjoyment to one another.The sex scenes were explicitly hot and engaging!These Dragon shifters are magical making them even more enticing to read about and you wanting to learn all you can about these unique mythical creatures.
We would recommend reading this short story if you like Erotica. We are giving it 4 stars.

This one is seriously a quickie. As you see from up above, it's only 46 pages so it goes by very fast. There is a little bit of action that happens but the main parts are sex. Lilly is mated to two Dragon shifters. The 3 of them are all involved sexually, so it's combos of M/M, M/F/M. Philippe and Remy are both dedicated to Lilly and will do anything to keep her happy and safe.
The Summoning again is a good quick read. If you are looking for something to tidy you over before another book with plenty of sexy elements, then look no further. This is the one for you.

Another great story!!! So steamy!!! And finally the M/M scene, although I find it hard to believe they have been together six months and she has never asked to watch! I also really enjoyed the story on this one. Very well done but again I found myself wishing it were longer. A short read is good but when the writer is doing a good job with the story you can't help but want more. It was a real pleasure to read and I plan to check out more work by this author.

Como en el primer libro, esta también es una historia corta para pasar un rato sin pensar mucho. A pesar de que obviamente los asuntos centrales son el romance y el sexo, resulta agradable la pequeña exploración a la sociedad de los dragones y el conflicto que surge para los protagonistas. They arrive at their dragon home just in time to get Lily back, but they still have to answer the challenge in the ancient way – a fight in dragon form. Lily has never seen her mates in their other form, but she soon finds that they are just as strong and domineering in this form as their human one and she loves them even more – if that is possible. Once before Remy and Philippe left their ancient home to avoid any further fights, when this one is over will they once again turn their back on their dragon home?
Three lovers will be faced with ancient enemies and rules which will make them have to fight in order to keep what they have found. Lily, Remy and Philippe will all learn just how strong their love is in The Summoning. It was very obvious that the challenge that makes Remy and Philippe take Lily to their ancient dragon home is phony. However, I found myself cheering for them to destroy the two dragons who dared to make a claim on Lily. The jealously which was behind the challenge was an old and long standing one and I was very happy to see that Remy and Philippe put an end to it. Even if I did feel slightly sorry for the two dragons who had been led to it by loyalty to their family. Seeing that love not only ruled the day, but managed to give all three of them a missing part of Remy and Philippe’s lives back was a great ending. The Summoning takes equal parts of passion and suspense and twists them together in a way which proves you really can go back home with love.

I was drawn to this book by the dragon shifters. I love dragon shifters and am always curious to see how they are portrayed. Add in some steamy scenes and I’m game. Dragon’s Lair: The Summoning is the a short read (only about 50 pages), and the second book in the series. I had not read the first installment of the series, so when I began reading The Summoning, I was a bit lost and taken aback. The opening pages jump right into steamy scenes, and I was not quite ready for that. As I continued reading, I picked up on the relationship dynamics between Lilly, Remy, and Philippe. The three are a in a menage, committed relationship. Lilly is the human mate to both Remy and Philippe, who are dragon shifters. Remy and Philippe’s past catches up with the when old enemies kidnap Lilly.
The Summoning is a novella, so the story lines are not super developed. I only briefly got to know the characters, but I liked them and their unique relationship. The dragon shifter magic supernatural elements were interesting and made me more curious about them. Even though it took me awhile to understand the romance and relationship between the three main characters, the sex scenes were pretty hot, and explicit. (To be clear; this is an erotic story is about a menage featuring 2 men and 1 woman.) There was more to this story than sex, there is a kidnapping, fighting, and dragon magic.
I would have likely enjoyed this book more if I had read the first book and understood the characters better from the beginning. Nevertheless, Dragon’s Lair: The Summoning was an enjoyable, steamy, quick read, and I still love dragon shifters. I would recommend reading the books in order though.

I’ll say it up front that this book is more sex than storyline. That being said, it’s hot sex, and what storyline there is ain’t bad. The world is neat, though maybe a little old fashioned, and I really liked the relationship between Remy, Philippe, and Lilly.
Having not read the first book, I felt its absence, but it could’ve been worse. Really it’s mostly referencing how they all met, built a bond, and got used to their new life together.
It’s a good read, but I guess I just felt like it was a little too short and more written for the straight erotica rather than the actual story and I would’ve liked more to that story.

Braine's Talk Supe review
I didn't get to read book 1, Dragon's Lair, of this series but I didn't feel lost because Seraphina Donavan caught readers up on the events that transpired on the previous book. In THE SUMMONING, Lilly, Remy and Phillippe's happy menage is rocked when a rival pair of dragon shifters abducted Lilly, using her as leverage against her lovers. Fortunately for them the council is behind Remy and Phillippe and Lilly was rescued and reinstated to her rightful mates.
As THE SUMMONING is a short 5 chapter story of around 36 pages, the tale was concise and straightforward without depriving us readers of a well-written and juiced up story. This is a great nooner full of sexy scenes (see excerpt below for more details) between Lilly and her dragon lovers. I also love how despite its shortness, SDonavan managed to write a plot to balance the heavy smex scenes going on between the pages.

The Summoning continues perfectly from where Dragon’s Lair leaves off and Seraphina writes it with even more hot scenes. There’s sex, lots of it. Even more hot scenes, including M/M, F/M, but mostly M/M/F. The trio of Lilly, Remy and Philippe has progressed very nicely in their relationship and are getting along wonderfully. What they have is like a dream come true for all of them, but of course all dreams and intense happiness has to be disrupted, in this case it is by jealousy and revenge. A great read for any fans of the erotic paranormal genre, but I strongly recommend reading the first of the series before reading this one. You’ll have a greater appreciation of the trio if you do.

This is the second short story in the Dragon’s Lair series, and as with the first: I loved it. Lily, the mate of Remy and Philippe has been kidnapped by the men’s foe, forcing a confrontation and fight to the death to free her.
Seraphina Donavan has created a series that should be read in order, but will not disappoint as there are dragons, conflicts, action and several steamy scenes including M/M, M/F/M and light BDSM.
In the second, we see how Remy and Philippe use their dragon’s nature and desire to keep what is theirs, safe. Certainly a great book in the series and will keep me looking for more of this author’s books.

The second book in the Dragon's Lair series is even more explosive than the first. This one is a bit longer, has action and intrigue, and the sex is even hotter than before. Our two favorite Dragons, Remy and Philippe, are battling to save their mate, Lilly, from their enemies. Who wouldn't want two hot guys fighting for them - SWOON! Now that they have been together for a while, the sexual play is more erotic and steamy, including explicit intimate M/M encounters. I could not put this book down and was sad to see it end. Another great story by Seraphina Donavan and I plan on checking into more of her books.

This is book two of a series. I did not have the opportunity to read the first one however I do not feel it is necessary to understand this one. At only 45 pages this was a very fast read but definitely worth it.
The relationship between Remy, Philippe and Lilly is hot. When Lilly is threatened by an old enemy and they are forced to fight we are allowed to see their dragon forms. We also learn why Remy & Philippe are so close and share one woman. I will not spoil it for you.
I honestly don’t know how the author was able to pack so much into this book but I really enjoyed it. Since I like fantasy and science fiction type settings I enjoyed it even more when they are at the compound in Colorado.

The relationship between Remy, Philippe and Lilly is hot. When Lilly is threatened by an old enemy and they are forced to fight we are allowed to see their dragon forms. We also learn why Remy & Philippe are so close and share one woman. I will not spoil it for you.
I honestly don’t know how the author was able to pack so much into this book but I really enjoyed it. Since I like fantasy and science fiction type settings I enjoyed it even more when they are at the compound in Colorado.

IMO - its got a plot, its got some hot sex, the briefest of all brief M/M scenes...its short, and the entire plot is condensed... the plot is worthy of expansion,the world building could be expanded, and more time spend on descriptive elements would be a plus - would make for a good expanded story to the novella length... I found it interesting that in "true"

Seraphina does very well with the sequel! I liked how she added more detail about the dragons. My favorite part was when Philippe and Remy changed into the dragon. I loved the way she described the look in the dragon's eyes when they looked at Lilly. What really touched me was when Lilly described her emotion when she saw the dragon. I want more. I am in love with these characters.

This story was more primal than the first. Phillipe & Remy must fight for their Dragonswan Lilly. But who will win?
