WOW. JUST WOW.

The title quite explains itself. She's bad news. And that 'she' goes by Corinna Evans. When she was 12 she committed arson and was sent away to her mother. Corinna is now 17 and only has one goal: graduating from high school. Because she has nowhere to go, she is forced to return to a town that practically hates her now and in her father's and stepmother's house where she is not warmly welcomed.
To her parents she is nothing but trouble and is disrupting their somewhat peaceful life but Corinna assures them that as soon as she graduates she's out of their hairs and gone for good.

The story goes on as Corinna, struggles to finish high school and catch up on the work she missed, deals with her unloving family, ex friends, school bullies as well as a hostile town, while trying to control her past, the problems and the people in it.

The plot was an A+, the writing was amazing and the overall development of the story was brilliant!
As for the characters you either loved them or hated them. Either way they were all intense characters; some more than others but still intense.

Did i mention that this is a wattpad book? No i didn't. Well yes it is(witch really surprised me). You might underestimate it but don't. This is no book for wattpad in the first place (lol no offense to anyone). But that's just how good it is. Some real serious shit goes down in this book. And if i may say, it is even better than some contemporaries out there. Give it a shot. u dnt even need an acc. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE. GO READ ITTT!!
In fact i'm saving you the trouble and giving you the direct link- BE HAPPY! -She's bad news. they are not paying me to do this - ugh I WISH!

PS:

THAT IS ACTUALLY THE 1ST SEMI-DECENT REVIEW I'VE EVER WRITTEN - *PROUD* :D

I won't rate this one.

I read it on wattpad. The story is interesting, but I had difficulties with the writing style. It did not get me, but that's just my taste. It was pretty long and I skipped from chapter 22 to 29, and had the feeling I did not miss a lot in the 6 chapters I skipped. 29 was the show down. And 30 the HEA.

She's Bad News is an ebook I found on wattpad. It is about a girl whose mother just got put in jail, so she goes back to her dad's house. This is where a whole lot of crap happened four years ago, and no one really knows the truth but her. And now every one seems to think she's bad news.
It takes Cory awhile, but she's determined to actually graduate high school and get away from this town and from her past. But that may not be so easy when so many people are actually trying to be her friend, and maybe more.

This book was really very good. The writing was wonderful, and all of the characters were interesting. I loved Cory. She had a snarky attitude but she was actually a person with a really big heart. And I loved Flynn as well, he wasn't ever going to give up on Cory no matter what. I really didn't like Cory's dad though. Out of everyone he was probably my least favorite person, and I wanted to smack him several times. The plot was also very interesting, I was never bored in this book. And at times I even cried over how Cory was treated, it really was heartbreaking. I highly recommend this book! It was wonderful.

Am I the only one who doesn't really like this book? It has potential and I like the idea of the story, but flynn is acting like he has pms all the time and corinna's face must stiff because she is smirking everytime someone is hurting her feelings. I stopped reading it after the 5th chapter. Too bad

For being a Wattpad book this was absolutely brilliant! I couldn't get enough of this book. It's just so heartbreakingly beautiful. Her writing is just so... real. You could feel almost everything the main character, Corinna, is going through. I would definitely recommend it. This book was like a breath of fresh air because it isn't cliche like the rest of the Wattpad books. Definitely give this book a chance. You won't regret it.

DNF chapter 12/30
For a Wattpad book, writing was great, but it’s a slow burn and not much happened at this point in the book.

It’s hinted that she’s been abused and neglected by her drunk mom, and her mom’s oily boyfriend, when they took her in 4 years ago (when she was 14), but Cori, the h, is a strong heroine and she’s just trying to finish her education so she could have a future.

I loved that shes a tough chick, but soft and vulnerable still.
Love how sweet she is with her 6yr old brother. Those were some of my fav moments.
As abused as she was, and as abused as she still is from school bullies, the book isn’t a big pity party. It’s more about her trying to stay strong, girls got no time to pity herself, when she has goals!
I recently tried reading a popular book where the h was abused in the past, and the entire annoying book was her sob story. This book isn’t like that at all.

I liked some of the emotional moments, but I need more drama, and conflict to keep me interested…

Romance: 💕H is her older brother’s BFF and he’s been in love with her since forever. His jealousy scenes were kinda cute lol, because the h is completely clueless about how he feels.

Might revisit some other time.

I found this book on Wattpad, suggested by a friend. When I began to read I immediately got sucked into Corinna's dark world, where people think it's okay to treat her worse than trash.
Corinna was busted for something and fell of the grid.. she returns completely different from the girl she used to be.
This book made me so angry at times I cried with frustration at how awful human nature can be.
Her father was such a prick and yet amazingly enough, she still loved him.
Flynn was such an awesome character.. where can I sign up for one?!

Corinna's brothers loved her but everyone in the town appears to be looking to screw Corrina over, snatching away even her small hope of happiness.

This book is an ABSOLUTE MUST READ.

This isn't the best review mainly because I'm unable to put into words how much I loved this book and what I loved about it. Warms my heart to see my fave Wattpad authors published!

Updated review:

I realize my earlier review sucked and didn’t explain why I loved this book, why it had me in tears in EVERY CHAPTER. This is a story about a girl and her mother, a mother who ruined her life, a mother who failed to ever protect her. This book really explores the darker side of relationships with mothers, and how a child’s love for her mother could be toxic. It shows us how high school friendships can be fickle, filled with expectations to keep up a facade to fit in or else you’re a nobody, you’re trash.

Corinna finally gets away from her mother and ends up going back to her father, brother, stepmother and her stepbrother. And obviously they’re suspicious and want her gone as she took the blame for something that her mother did. Her brothers love her but cannot really understand her.

Corinna may be badass, but underneath her tough exterior she’s terrified. Lost. Isolated. Abused. Destroyed. And she needs somebody to love her. To identify her as the victim.

Slowly her facade begins to crack, her stepmother even begins to thaw out and she identifies with Corinna as a victim. Her father is still an asshole but after nearly losing his daughter again, her life changes.

This novel was so brilliantly written, I read it three years ago and I haven’t forgotten it. I recently reread it in all honesty.

This is one of the Wattpad novels that truly deserved to be published, I’m truly so happy for the author.

This book changed my life. Brilliantly tear provoking and filled with a melancholy that resonated for a very long time.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. Of course, I'm really judging based on my emotions right now, soooooo... possibly inaccurate.
When I was fourteen, I was trying to get a grip on high school and crushing on assorted boys (I was a fourteen-year-old with the prospect of boy options beyond the seven in my grade, cut me some slack. You can't tell me you wouldn't have been picky). When Corinna Evans was fourteen, she burned down a school. There's a ocean's wide gap between us.
While I read this, I found myself getting drawn into the story. What exactly happened to Corinna Evans in the last four years and even before to make her into the young woman that she was now? I also found myself mentally cringing at missing commas and typos. Priorities. Every single time Corinna curled up into herself instead of opening up to people made me angry. Why wouldn't she tell her story? People could help her. And we got her story eventually. Most of it. There are portions that we still don't know at the end of the story.
Let's talk about Aaron. I wanted to punch Aaron in the face most of the time. He's just so damn pushy. It was like "yo, Aaron. Stahp. Staaaahp." and he didn't. I guess that's one of the things about his character. I didn't like him.
The other characters who were her friends of sorts were decent. Likeable. The mean ones were, obviously, not likeable, but you even have to pity Rachel. Until you want to slap her across the face and shake her and scream 'LISTEN TO YOURSELF!'
The parentals seemed off. I'm not sure how the time flowed, exactly, but certain injuries magically vanished as if they were forgotten about. However, as a writer myself, I understand how things can be forgotten between days or even hours working on a project. Sometimes it felt like one thing happened and then we forgot all about it. *shrugs* Whatever. I was invested, right to the end, I survived the experience. It was dreadful and traumatic and I wouldn't have survived the life that Corinna lived.

Honestly, this was pretty boring. I made it to about chapter 9 when I gave up because I was tired of the characters and nothing was happening. Flynn was a whiny bitch. Corinna had potential, but she would end up doing something that made me want to throw my computer. Sandra started to remind me of my father's horrid ex-girlfriend. The guy that liked Corinna (I think his name was Aaron?), was one of those "nice guys". Everyone else was too bland to remember.

As always, I don't like multiple first person POVs in stories. If you're going to utilize multiple POVs, use third person. More importantly, if you're going to write from someone's point of view, don't be so damned coy and vague about stuff that said person knows. Corinna is a "bad girl", given that rep for past actions. We don't really know what they are, and are only given that knowledge through second hand accounts from other people. Corinna burned down the school, or something, and in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, it's implied that her mother did it and she took the fall. Listen, Corinna knows what she did and didn't do. When these things are brought up, the narrative needs to have her acknowledge it, not ignore it for the false tension and suspense. Especially because this is first person. People aren't vague when they're in their head. Who are they trying to hide things from? (Unless there are mind-reading abilities, and even then, not so much.) No one, that's who. The first time the arson gets brought up, Corinna should be thinking "I didn't do it" or "I'm tired of being blamed for something my mother did, but I covered for her" or something like that. Outwardly, sure, she'd put on an act. Inside? Her mind should jump to what she knows. Instead, her inner monologue ignores it. That's just sloppy writing. A reveal shouldn't be something that the main character(s) already know, it should be something that they don't know. Otherwise, what the hell was the point?

So, yeah, I had it with the fake tension and suspense, the draggy story, and the characters.

Corinna had It tough life and with no one their to help her out. She had a dad that don't believe anything she said because of an previous event that happen. He basically turn his back on his daughter because of something she suppose of did.She was sent to live with her mom until her mom get in trouble have to move back. Will her family accept her back in their lives or not. A lot of secrets is reveal and will change everyone way of thinking.I love this book it is a good. After I read the first chapter I couldn't stop reading it. I read the book all the time when I had free time. I would wake up and wanted to read it.Something that I dislike about this book that there was a lot of pointless ideas in it.I recommend that teenagers who like to romance, teen story, and like a mystery to read this book.

had go download Wattpad to find this book. yes, it was free. I wasn't a fan of the layout. It seems as if the story was done as a serial. Each chapter was full of notions and comments. Sort of reading a really long Facebook status with comments at the start of the chapters. liked the story. Just wish it wasn't such a rough draft.

In my opinion this is one of the best books I have come across on Wattpad. I was a bit dubious at first about whether or not to read it as I thought it would be another cliché story but it certainly wasn't. Most definitely one of my favourite books I've ever read

This story was great. There were so many tense times in this book I thought that Corinna was going to give up at some points in the story but she didn't she stood her ground and made it through her life and fell in love with a great guy that will take care of her. I loved this story a lot.

She's Bad News is another amazing Wattpad book that I absolutely love. I absolutely love the main female character. She's just so brave and amazing. She's not like your normal female main character. She's so courageous.

Overall, I rate this book: 5/5.
