Such a beautiful book and a sort of beginner's guide to mentoring young women. I enjoyed this study very much, as the author not only gives advice for "how to mentor" but how to *be* a good mentor as well, and in a biblical way, which I found to be the most helpful.

"It is the willing spirit that matters, not the life experience, a gifted personality or a seemingly perfect life. Expertise and degree qualifications do not matter to hurting hearts, lost souls or women hungry for love wrapped in truth."

The book is laid out in easy short chapters, included with practical tips, with a few questions at the end of each one for further self-study in where God is leading you in the mentoring process, and to help you identify where God can use you right now to mentor in the lives of those around you. Excellent help for small or large group mentoring, or in one-on-one settings, etc., with encouragement for all ages of women desiring to step up and be a mentor. As a blogger and praying-to-be-a-writer-someday, I found this to be a tremendous blessing and encouragement in the simple ways we can mentor everyday (among other methods) and clear points on what mentoring truly is. :) I look forward to studying this book over again in the future. I would recommend to anyone with a ministry to young ladies or desiring to mentor in any capacity.

"If you love Jesus and strive to live according to the Scriptures, then you are qualified to mentor. We are qualified to mentor biblically when we follow Christ distinctly."

"Impact My Life will enable you to see yourself being used by the Lord, right here, right now, for the benefit of those people perfectly placed in your corner of the world."

This is a wonderful book that helps women learn how to mentor each other. There is a big need for older women to mentor younger women, and this book will help both as they navigate the relationship together. If you are in need of a mentor are looking to mentor, this is a great book for you.
