Best to be knowledgeable than not.

In everything from self-help volumes to the build solar panels and tech related manuals, they add knowledge to memory if not all of the book is absorbed, but what you thought was interesting.

This is another of those books.

The ultimate volume of this particular subject.

Good book. Not many books cover vehicles specifically so worth a read in addition to a general BOB book

I have to admit that when I see a guy with a TV show write a book, I go into the book with more than a dram of skepticism. I was wrong. Creek addresses things like the type of vehicle you should use, the pros and cons of other types of vehicles, and philosophies of stocking your BOV. I really enjoyed the well thought out way the book was laid out and written. It was easy to read, informative, and even gave different websites to acquire some of the gear he talked about without turning the book into an infomercial. This was one of my favorite reads this year!

Interesting "what if (although the author would that it is not a question of "if" but rather a one of "when"...) a disaster happen" kind of vehicle I should have to evacuate the family to a safe place...

It is not really an extreme survivalist type of mindset but something that sounds thought of and meaningful.

Probably mostly inapplicable in Europe though...
