Sean Kennedy lives in the second-most isolated city in the world, thinks there are thylacines still out in the wild, and eagerly awaits the return of Twin Peaks in 2017.
Everyone should know by now I LOVE Simon and Dec, and I did like this, but it felt like something was missing, and I'm not sure what. Maybe it's just because
But like I said I did like it, it was cute with some laughs thrown in. No sure how how I found the end of the world cute, but I did. So 3.5 stars
This was a nice little off-the-cuff short with Simon being his usual drama queen self. Again hilarious writing from the author. This gets three stars from me because it was a little off tangent to the normal Simon and Dec situations, but entertaining nevertheless. As written in the author's notes, he doesn't have to fear about ruining the Tigers and Devils world for me as I just love his writing and these characters particularly.
Like Bubbles, I wasn't a huge fan of as well. But it was quite a crack!fic of the end of the world. Reading this a day after the apocalypse (22-12-12) was making this quite a funny nod to the crazy talks of the end of the world ^^. Still, it was lovely to visit Simon and Dec again and to know that even at the end of days, these two still loved each other very much.
This was awfully weird but the main premise of it came from Simon so I guess anyone would expect weird. But hey, it's nice to have some glimpse of my other favorite couple from down under ^_^
I so missed Simon and Declan - Sean Kennedy - please give us the third book already ^_^
Awesome to see Simon and Dec again, even if only in a short clip. With the way the world has been going cuckoo over this topic, it was just perfect, and I really enjoyed it. 3.5 stars for me.
Funny, sexy and interesting MC's kept me completely enraptured in this series. I had to read up on Australian Football (oh, sexy so worth the research time!). At first I thought these were young adult books (high school) but I was wrong - sexy, sexy men!
There are 4 novels and 4 short stories (3 shorts free on Amazon the rest on Dreamspinnerpress.com). I'd love at least one more - definitely love to see them as the family grows!
This is the first book in the series and they should definitely be read in order.
This definitely was a departure from what I was expecting. The characters did remain in character and it was wonderful to see how close they really were during the apocalypse. This story did not ruin it for me for the rest of the series. Thanks for writing it. (Note: I think I really enjoyed the treasure hunt of trying to find it on the Internet. It wasn't easy and I wouldn't have found it at all if I hadn't stumbled upon the mention of it on Goodreads.)
Lovely to see Simon and Dec again, with added Fran and Roger as well. This was funny and yet very moving, too, as they are still very much together even to the (possible) end.
