The purpose of this work is solely to explore truth in all its degrees without prejudice. Humans must rise above the chains that bind them in order to truly witness eternal peace. There is no boogie man or evil besides that which humans harbor within themselves which ultimately serves as mankind’s foe.
Humans are the only enemies’ mankind faces. And it is the mortal mind which is the only true enemy of man/woman. It’s not until an individual frees himself or herself from individuality and personality and all the vices and bad virtues they both harbor that one can reach the most high in consciousness, and within themselves as well.
In Black American Vision, Therone Shellman presents an unapologetic Black American viewpoint on issues such as illegal immigration, labor reform, the restoration of Black Americans, Black education reform, law enforcement and criminal justice reform, and the future of Black politics.
Too often, the voices of Black Americans are drowned out by those who are seeking to misunderstand them on purpose, those who are benefiting from their struggles and sacrifices, and others who are utilizing them to progress their causes, not as allies, but as undercover competitors.
Therone Shellman sets the record straight in showing Black Americans have their own interests, views and don't need anyone attaching them to issues that don't align with the progress of Black American objectives.
My works are said to be thought provoking, and I love to enable readers to think outside the box. I'm not a conformist to general ideas in regards to politics, psychology and life in general.
Third Eye Awakening by Therone Shellman is a uniquely insightful book that provides substantial food for thought. From the opening pages I was immediately drawn to the author’s message.
In this book the author encourage readers to take responsibility for their own actions and their own lives. Shellman does not allow the “devil” to be used as an excuse for the evil in the world. Instead, he boldly informs us that it is the human mind that causes destruction. He believes once we learn to control our minds, we will be able to positively improve the world in which we live. Shellman writes, “A man who masters the world within himself will surely learn to master the outer world.” The author uses his own life story as an example to show readers how a change in perspective can create a more meaningful way of living.
His theory on creating a life built on a foundation of love is what held my attention as I read each page.
Although some of Shellman’s views may not be traditional, he states an excellent case for explaining why we should embrace a life of spirituality, instead of following any one religious doctrine. He states, “Truth...does not belong to any individual or group of individuals solely. It is universal and belongs to all.” The author also believes all religions come from one story, delivered in different ways, so that it may be understood by different people, in different regions.
One of the things I liked most about this book is Shellman’s courage to share his truth unapologetically.
Third Eye Awakening is an intriguing and personal exploration that has the potential to benefit all readers.
In this book, the author conveys his spiritual journey from the life of crime to achieving inner peace by recognizing God within. Mind you, the author does not believe in organized religion. His line of thinking can apply to everybody regardless of their beliefs or religion. His self discovery leads him to come to the conclusion that he does not have to look elsewhere to achieve love, peace, happiness or success, because all this is within him. This may not sound new to most of us but we did not have the same experiences that he hid when he was young. He also goes through the different levels of self discovery which helped him to get to the highest level of inner peace. I assume it takes a lot of discipline and practice to get to the that level. Some of it seems too much to live up to, but there is truth in what he writes. This is a personal account and may not be for everyone but I upload any methodology that helps people elevate themselves to be better. If you are conflicted in life and don't know what to do, this may be a great reference for you.
This book was well-written and interesting My own view of this author's philosophy /religion is different . I am basically pretty hardcore follow-the-Bible to the T. But I respect the author's point of view about all matter and energy never being destroyed. I just feel that the Bible does explain this. There are some points of view I take issue with regarding my religious beliefs. Novel approach to the universe- it is a good-read!
