This is an interesting nonfiction book about hawks, written by Merebeth Switzer. The narrative is short and the text is paired with many colorful photographs.

Overall, I thought it was a very good book that helps to teach children about these fierce hunters. The information is detailed, but not boring or overwhelming, and the drawings and photographs are terrific. We enjoyed reading this book together.
