As an Arizonian transplant to the Red River Valley, Marc de Celle gives us locals a fresh look at some aspects of our life we pretty much take for granted. While his particular writing style is not my favorite, his content is light-hearted (something the friend who loaned me her book insisted I needed at this point in my life) and grateful... something most of us can use a good dose of now and then. We live close to Fargo and have had many incidents happen just as he relates. True stories.
A worthy read. His stories of goodness gives me hope for humanity
This was a most heartwarming, inspirational read from an author who is able to see the beauty of the heartland's "deplorables." I smiled, laughed, wiped tears and am grateful for an all too short read from an "outsider." Welcome to ND.....may you receive as many blessings as you've given.
