Nate Southard is moody, shy, lanky, bald, and has bad skin. When he isn’t writing, he’s probably cooking Thai food or fried chicken. Seriously, he has something like fifty fried chicken recipes. It’s ridiculous. He recently discovered coffee-flavored ice cream, and it’s ruling his entire world. Did you know if you mix it with chocolate ice cream, you can kinda make mocha ice cream? Nate does!

Nate lives in Austin, Texas.

He sucks at skateboarding.

This is a collection of 17 short stories by Nate Southard published by Thunderstorm Books. I really enjoyed the stories and there really isn't a bad one in the bunch. Almost all are reprints from previous collections except "It Burns" which is printed for the first time here. Some of my favorites are: "The Blisters On My Heart" which is an end of the world gritty love story, "A Team-Building Exercise" which is a fun action packed story, "It burns" which is a giant monster story, and last but not least "Something Went Wrong" which is the longest and best of all the stories. Highly recommended collection!!

Great collection of short stories.If you have never read any of Nate' s work this is a good place to start.Very dark stories.
