Locally written, and published, this little book is about a fascinating local Spartanburg man. I personally have visited the garden; and the grounds to my church are scattered with many trees planted by Harold Hatcher. He was also a founding member of my church.

The language can be intensely flowery (pun intended), but no more so than the garden is in actuality.

Fun, fast read! I hope it sparks curiosity about visiting the Hatcher’s garden.
