First mafia romance type book I have ever read. I was a little nervous about if I would be as interested in it as my love for fantasy romance and I pleasantly surprised how much I actually enjoyed it. Brandy as a character was so relatable and I loved how she was able to overcome her past during this book. After what she has experienced, she deserves to find happiness and I’m glad she got what she desired most. Definitely recommend this book.

This is book two In the Devil’s Deviants MC series and I highly recommend reading the first book in the series, Defiant.
This is a super spicy, fast paced, MC novel. I absolutely loved the first book in the series and so I had very high expectations for this one, and it did not disappoint!!
“The girl who covered up the rot that lived inside her with shy smiles and lies. He not only saw her, but he wanted to keep her. My foolish heart wanted to belong to this man because with him I wasn’t broken anymore.”
Brandy works for the the DEA and is tasked with going undercover to expose the Deviants. Thankfully her twin sister is already in with the club. When she arrives at the club she is introduced to Hunter and she is obsessed at first sight. Eventually she must decide whether to side with the DEA, or her family and lover.
Hunter inherited the cartel from his father at the end of the first book and now his brother is trying to blackmail him to take it away. Hunter must keep the cartel so that the club doesn’t suffer, and at the same time find out what the DEA is up to…
“My angel didn’t have a clue how badly the devil wanted to possess her. She was a diamond in a world full of rocks, and I was the only one who saw the rainbow. That was fine by me.”
Gladys has done it again y’all. This book is absolutely amazing and I can’t wait for the next one in the series!!

Damaged is Hunter's story. This story was a brilliant read. It was beautifully written. Once I started it I finished it in one sitting.
This author is fantastic at writing strong female characters. But also keeping the male characters protective of what they see as their's. Which makes for a fantastic story with plenty of drama, voilence, passion and spice.

WOW, as usual Gladys Cross has slain me with her storytelling abilities. I was thoroughly entertained throughout Damaged. I absolutely loved Hunter and Brandy’s story ❤️❤️❤️ Brandy was put in a situation she was never going to escape from unscathed, lies and deception whirled around the her, the mission she’d been given was set up for failure before she’d even began. Once again, trying to save her sister from consequences she didn’t deserve Brandy sets out to keep her out of prison or worse, from death. Meeting and falling for Hunter wasn’t in the plan but strangely his was the only touch she could comfortably allow. He was captured by her beauty, her innocence, his Angel. He had enough to deal with facing his brother who wanted him dead, not knowing his younger sister was out to bring them both to an end, his feelings for Brandy were a surprise to him, Mine, was the only thing that made sense. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎 excited for book 3

Damaged was just as good as Defiant. Brandy and Hunter are my favorite characters of the story and will keep you hooked from the beginning. Don't miss out on reading this.

Add in the fact he sees Brandy and immediately determines she is HIS, although he has no emotional capacity at all, and she hates touch from any male but now with the exception of Hunter. How will they all get out of this mess in tact, much less with any type of relationship. Tune in. You don’t want to miss this one.

This book was really good. All the characters were amazing. I love me a good MC book and this was perfect in every way. I love Brandy’s introduction into the series. Her boss wanted her to get close to the MC charter to get intel on everything they had their hands in. He told her she had to do it because he threatened her sister Cherry. When she first got to the club she immediately hit it off with Stella. Hunter immediately took a liking to Brandy and he was very possessive of her. I loved their connection. He told her that he she needed to stay with him and the first night she did she had a nightmare of what happened I her past and she was talking in her sleep. He cuddled Into her to tell her it was okay but demanded who hurt her but she wouldn’t say because she needed to protect her sister still. It came out much later who it was because hunter did some digging. This book didn’t go the way I thought it was going to. A lot happened because Hunter was born into the mafia as well as being in the MC. So good. Can’t wait to read the next one.

OMG!! Ms. Gladys does MCs right. She knocked this one out of the park. I don't know how you get readers to fall in love with crazy but she exceeded the goal. We are back with the Devil's Deviants MC with an unexpected twist. Hunter, Mikolaj Kowalczyk, is dealing with some family stuff that leads to the Braterstwo. Though he left that life, his father left the family holdings to him. His brother, Piotr, decides to take Hunter out through the MC to get what he wants.
Brandy Smith has showed up to the MC wanting help from her twin sister, Cherry. Cherry is a stripper. Everyone in the MC loves her and would do anything for her. Brandy had been working in tech with the DEA. Her boss pulled her in to gather entail on the cartel and the MC. In return, Cherry would be able to walk away. Brandy had always protected Cherry and this job would be no different. A few issues though. Brandy is not an agent and Hunter.
Hunter notices Brandy as soon as she walks through the door and claims her as his. Brandy has had issues with abuse in the past and is very skittish around men but for some reason, Hunter is different. She feels safe with him. Though she knows this is a losing battle, she decides to get everything she can from it. Hunter delivers in spades while also trying to figure out what is going with Brandy. He knows somebody hurt her.
As always the twists and turns are out of this world. Readers will think they have figured out what is going on and realize that they never had a clue. Will Brandy survive this betrayal? Will she be able to go back to her old life after all of this over? Readers will see all of the characters we grew to love from the first book in the series. I absolutely fell in Love!
I always find deep unadulterated purity in Gladys Cross's books. To some that may sound like lunacy because her books almost always have a dark and bloody undertone to them but the strength of her main characters and their moral convictions (yes, even criminals have morals) will have you on the edge of your seat.
This book lived up to the title and the characters more than kept to their strengths and showed even more of the growth of the group as a whole as this series unfolds. Hunter is definitely one of my favorites of the Devils Deviants and let me just say Whatta man! Hunter may be a different brand of man, but his values more than makeup for his lack of a few measly things and boy oh boy is the chemistry strong with him and Brandy. Brandy might surprise a few of you.
There are a million reasons to read this and I would tell you here, but I don't believe in giving spoilers or trying to retell a fabulous story. Suffice it to say, that the characters are beautifully crafted and the world building is beyond compare. As much as I love the characters on one of my fave shows SOA, this is so much better!
This is an absolute must have for personal collections and while not sex heavy or even encumbered with four letter words of the dark variety, I would recommend it not be on the family friendly shelf because of the darker nature.

I love this Authors book s. and a big fan of this series. the women characters. Are so strong. And the men are protective of what is there's Brandy. Works for the government she a computer geek. She has a twin sister. Cherry, she has protected. Her all her life and Brandy is given an ultamation she will do anything to protect her sister. Hunter is the devil in disguise. he will do anything to protect the devils' deviants. and he is high up in the mafia chain. when Brandy and Hunter meet there is a strong pull for both .I not going to say any more but a brilliant read to this series I so can't wait for book 3

Even better than the first book in the series. Brandy’s internal monologue is freaking hilarious and she’s even more interesting than Valentina. I loved the sexy nerdiness so much. I loved Hunter and his immediate possessiveness when he lays eyes on Brandy. The fact no girl has ever gone into his room but he tells her she has to stay in his room or she cant stay at all…and without even a second thought? OH MY. Keep in mind this chick is undercover for the DEA to bring down the Deviants. And don’t even get me started on her “virgin” status and his piercings? SO HOT. The fact that she and Cherry are twins? Genius and I loved it so much. I loved all the comparisons between their looks and personalities and hearing the inner monologue of the comparisons of them with all the men. I really hope we get a Cherry book though. She and Stella will forever be my favs. EVEN BETTER than book 1.

Hunter and Brandy were great. This is book 2 in the series and like book 1 I enjoyed it. This series ties the MC world and the Mafia world together. I couldn't put it down. The chemistry was great and it was well written

When I saw Hunter's name at the top of the first chapter, I squealed! I was so happy he was getting a book!
Brandy was a mind blow because I didn't know she existed, but I love her character! The banter these two share is great. They're both damaged in their own way from their past, but together, they make an unforgettable story.

Amazing book!! The storyline was fast paced, it pulled you in from the very first page. The writing is sublime as usual. I love the humour, the angst, and especially the reality and subsequent trauma. It makes for a story that stands out 🥰

Wow just wow, this story was mind blowing, Gladys has went and done it again there story was beautiful and hunter couldn't have been written any other way, beautifully damaged. I couldn't put this book down once I started and finished it in one sitting. This book had everything, violence, drama, love, betrayal, passion, spice, friendship and more.

Hunter wow what a hunk off a man, born into the mafia, his father was a bastard, hunter excaped and joined a true family which was the Devil's Deviants. He got his name because that's what he was a true hunter. When his father died his brother calls him home, but not is all as it seems and war may be on the horizon.
"He cocked his head to the side. “Maybe you need to be reminded who you strip for. That I’m the one who owns your body. I’ve shown you what happens to good girls.” “Now, it’s time I show you what happens to the bad ones.” Wait. What?"
Brandy is cherry's twin sister, cherry works with the Devil's Deviants, she works for the dea and her boss tell her she's going in undercover to save her sister going to jail, he wants to bring them down and the mafia. She does it for the sake of her sister. What she didn't think would happen, was that she would fall for hunter, when they both meet they both are drawn to each other and there passion could set the building on fire. The closer she gets to hunter the more she's finds her self up the creek without a paddle. He will never forgive her if he finds out, which he will eventually. Does she get her happy ever after with hunter? Does she save her sister from jail? Does the club safe themselves from his brother and the dea? You have to read and find out. I loved every part off there story from start to finish, you really don't want to miss out on this series. I highly recommend them both. Defiant then damaged.

I love the reader discretion is advised warning at the beginning of the book. Hunter (vice president of The Devils Deviants Mc) has mafia family ties in Chicago to what seems like the mob. He has one heck of a family, and we get snippets of an intriguing backstory. I love the character's quirks of his numbness to emotions and feelings. Yet he recognizes so quickly in others that he is damaged but not broken.
Then we jump to Brandy. She is a hot mess, from panic attacks to being unable to be touched without consequences, and she works for the DEA. But she has a twin sister and a "minefield of memories in her hometown." By the way, I absolutely adore that description. She gets an assignment that might blow your mind, and it starts the interconnection between the first book and this one.
We jump back and forth between the povs, which helps the storyline. Mc meets the mafia in this explosive storyline. Right out the gate, we have banter that I love and a meeting in the depths of hell. I find myself shocked a lot as I wade through the first parts of the story. The revealed tidbits are just enough to string you along in suspense. You must love the possessive alpha male biker who gives you shivers as he reads behavior on others. I love that he notices every nuance and looks forward to the story they tell.
The skeletons will eventually come out of the closets, and I love this book's passionate, steamy scenes. It's dirty, dark, and oh-so-hot.
Her darkest parts are finding the light even as her mind battles against her, but she seems to be more overcome by him than she thinks. This story is high stakes for both the main characters, getting increasingly twisted as we go. I love the tidbits of info, even dark and deadly. The characters enrapture you with their stories as you get info piece by piece. This book gets steamy (not surprised)but mature and not overly descriptive. I love the gentle nature of Hunters monster and the Alpha Possessive bad boy we see from his character. Brandy has strength in her brokenness. I love watching her pieces fit back together to make her the perfect companion for Hunter.
This story is what fantasy is made of, with opposite characters, dark and dangerous themes, and backstories that will leave you wanting more. It is the perfect mix of Mc and Mafia romance with characters that are both damaged but beautifully broken together. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in this series.
Then we jump to Brandy. She is a hot mess, from panic attacks to being unable to be touched without consequences, and she works for the DEA. But she has a twin sister and a "minefield of memories in her hometown." By the way, I absolutely adore that description. She gets an assignment that might blow your mind, and it starts the interconnection between the first book and this one.
We jump back and forth between the povs, which helps the storyline. Mc meets the mafia in this explosive storyline. Right out the gate, we have banter that I love and a meeting in the depths of hell. I find myself shocked a lot as I wade through the first parts of the story. The revealed tidbits are just enough to string you along in suspense. You must love the possessive alpha male biker who gives you shivers as he reads behavior on others. I love that he notices every nuance and looks forward to the story they tell.
The skeletons will eventually come out of the closets, and I love this book's passionate, steamy scenes. It's dirty, dark, and oh-so-hot.
Her darkest parts are finding the light even as her mind battles against her, but she seems to be more overcome by him than she thinks. This story is high stakes for both the main characters, getting increasingly twisted as we go. I love the tidbits of info, even dark and deadly. The characters enrapture you with their stories as you get info piece by piece. This book gets steamy (not surprised)but mature and not overly descriptive. I love the gentle nature of Hunters monster and the Alpha Possessive bad boy we see from his character. Brandy has strength in her brokenness. I love watching her pieces fit back together to make her the perfect companion for Hunter.
This story is what fantasy is made of, with opposite characters, dark and dangerous themes, and backstories that will leave you wanting more. It is the perfect mix of Mc and Mafia romance with characters that are both damaged but beautifully broken together. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in this series.

I loved the first book in this series and had extremely high expectations for book 2 and let me tell you I was not disappointed! If you love spice and MC men that are fast paced reads, then you need to pick this series up right away.
We follow Hunter, who has some serious work to do if he is going to protect his club from his family while maintaining what has rightfully be left to him and Brandy, a DEA agent who gets an assignment that will blow your mind, with a very dark, sad history, who will do anything to make sure her twin sister Cherry doesn't fall victim to the end result of her investigation. The only problem in both of their plans- they both didn't expect to find the other and discover so much more than what they could have thought to be looking for.
I love how we not only get snippets from their pasts that give background on our MC's that we may have never seen but there is also a connection to the first book which I think helps enhance this world and brings you deeper into it. It is always nice to see series that connect to their previous book and this one does that seamlessly. It was also really nice to see someone like Brandy, who has been so broken and destroyed by this world, be able to fight her own demons and eventually begin to overcome them in her mind because of Hunter's presence. Despite the fact that both of these individuals appear broken, when they come together there is a sense that they both recognize that there is a greater purpose to each other and the doom and gloom mentality begins to dissipate.
From start to finish, this read was fast paced, extra extra spicy with enough emotional turns to keep you hooked from start to finish! I can't wait to see what is next for this world and by this author!

This is book 2 in the Devil's Deviant series and I recommend reading book 1 before diving into this one. This book is about Brandy and Hunter. If you are a fan of spice, MC tropes, and wonderful world building with fast paced story I highly recommend this absolute banger by Gladys Cross! She truly never fails to amaze with her writing and the characters are once again to 💀 for!

What Brady does not expect is to end up falling for Hunter, an ex-mafia son who left and joined the Devil's Deviants.

This book has everything! Where to start...Hunter and Brandy have attraction and a bond form the moment they lay eyes on each other. Problem is, Brandy is there under cover to try to take the MC down to save her sister.
Hunter is the VP of his MC and knows Brandy is hiding something, but something about her makes her different then all other women for him and her can't stay away even though he has his Mafia family trying to take him out and the feds trying to take them down.
They can't deny what they are to each other and when Hunter finds out about Brandy's past trauma, he turns into the burn the world down for my woman kind of man, and I'm all in for it!
Super steamy moments mixed in with real feelings, sister reconnection, suspense and plenty of fun banter make this a great read. This is only the second book in the series and can be read as a stand alone, but why would you want to? Do yourself a favour and read the first one also. So much has happened in the first two books, I can't wait to see what happens in the next ones!!

Damaged is book 2 in the Devil’s Defiant MC series and let me tell you it was just as good as Defiant, book 1, if not better. While book 1 was about Ryder and Valentina, we did get to meet a few members of the MC, and Hunter the MMC was one. This book is his story, and we get to learn a whole lot more about him. We are introduced to a new character, Brandy, the FMC. I loved getting to see how their story played out. There’s a lot of twists and turns in this book that will have you on the edge of your seat and wanting to know what happens next! The chemistry between the two is so palatable. This book has it all and then some.
