This book series is a group of 3 novella's. I enjoyed the basic spine of this series, but felt it lacking. I have read others by Helen Cooper & really enjoyed them. It has all the twists & turns & hot scenes but they're not up to the same standard as the other Millionaire's & Billionaire's stories.
I feel that in parts of this story Of movie star Oliver & his inevitable love Alice, was lacking something. I get the overall effect & intention behind the plot, I get the revenge factor, bu still not sure it found it's pulse.
This tale boasts a different appeal & at some stages I found myself trying to will Alice to just walk away. Not sure what I would do in her situation if I got the opportunity to meet & work for my favourite star. If the author was trying to turn us off of him, it was working, he really was a bit of an arrogant pig. But each to their own.
In the end I found that poor Oliver tried & I know Alice loves him still, but he's not going on the mantel with all my other 'Book Husbands', just not quite up there. But for the romantics out there, it might be a nice read, spoiler allert, but love does win.

The Rule means....Alice have to OBEY Oliver, whatever he asked her to do ....
and that was included having sex with another man !
and still Oliver acted like this !
it's hot..but, the Hollywood story was not into me at all....

Very short but steamy sex scenes.

Very interesteing twists. I haven't read the first two and probably should but this is a very fun book to read and steamy :)

An okay novel but beyond fucked up and how it ends will blow everyone away.
