Wow!
I read this story several years ago, but I did not remember the story being this gripping. I knew somehow Tania would have an issue in her relationship debacle with Brandon. I did not recall Fiona's part in the drama. I'll be ready to see how the drama ends.

This is not my typical kind of book, but baby! Trouble from the beginning: I thought about how Tamia's lousy decision would have panned out in the end. I was nowhere near revealing what the author planned for Tamia! Without giving any spoilers, you will not be disappointed with this book!

entertaining
Wow, what can you say about this book! It reads like a soap opera or a B movie so while there are several aspects that seem implausible it is always entertaining. One thing I really liked was that the heroine was real complex, sometimes you want to cheer for her and other times you want her to have consequences for her poor decisions and she definitely reaps what she sows. Surprise ending and cliffhanger but still really good read.

such a page TURNER!
I’ve read nearly all of Maureen Smiths book in a matter of a month so i’m familiar with her writing style, however I wasn’t sure how she would write or what the expect from this pseudonym. All I can say is I was NOT disappointed. This book had me gaping, pacing the room from shock, sympathy and all other emotions. Loved every minute of it! Can’t wait to read the next

Why I never…
read a book with a plot twist this!!! Just when I thought it was….but then it was…🤯 this book was gooood. I’m glad I read Speechless first which gave good insight about these characters. As for Brandon’s snooty @$$ parents…their secrets are yet to be revealed. With that being said on to the next installment 😉

Excellent story.
Can't wait to begin the next book. Talks was concerned about the wrong things. She was caught up and Cynthia got the man but that damn sister, Fiona! WOW, what an ending.

As a native Houstonian, I love that this story is based in Houston. I feel bad for Tamia….bad decisions and envy have led her to this point. Very well written!!
