The writing ✍🏾 is good, as usual to me, concerning this author's works. The characters and storyline could be realistic. This is my favorite of the series with one book before the series ends.
Some of the character names previous situations are not the same and suggest an story board.
I am very pleased with how the storyline in this series played out. The topics were dealt with realistically and even in space of uncertainty true love preaviled
Another book in this series that I am not completely happy with. There were just too many inconsistencies with names, times, info, and sequence within this story and the previous book. That made things look like the author did not pay attention to her work(bk) before this one.
The story in general was a nice journey to romance. They took time to build the relationship. Even when he made a major mistake she could see around things to make a life altering decision.
Zaire Alexander plan is to make it on her own, with out the use of her family name or connections. Tyrese Beningham only wants to be the best lawyer the Alexander family has ever employed. In walks trouble in the form of an ex-girlfriend and an attack on Zaire life. How do Zaire and Tyrese handle adversity.
Storyline predictable and cheesy. When the characters professed their love for one another without showing (different from telling) what lead to it the book became a wrap. Took me forever to get past the third chapter and by chapter 12 I skimmed through just to find out whodunit.
The Alexander Saga continues with this fourth book. I loved the suspenseful situations that occur, along with the series' trademark hot romance, and family love.
I really enjoy this book with the series. Ms. Thomas tells stories that can happen to everyone, life events and how to overcome. Love can conquer all with the right partner.
