Shortlisted for the 2012 Kidwelly eBook Award.
Set at the start of the millennium, this is a story of how ordinary people’s lives are changed forever when they become central to the ambitions of the underworld. Jake Furner is Merry Baker, an American, living a simple life in a small seaside town in the north of England. Marcus Fieldhouse is happily married and owns an IT company in Docklands. Bad luck plays its hand and their lives are changed forever.
Jake and Marcus are dragged into a world of violence when they are needed as part of a sophisticated computer hack which will steal millions of pounds from online bank accounts.
The story takes a journey into the psyche of the gangsters; what turned them into the men they have become? Love, fear, hate and revenge are common themes and as the book unfolds so do the dark secrets of their pasts and the effects that the uncovering of these secrets have on the present.

There is no honour among thieves. Crime adventure with deeply unlikeable characters.
