Puppydogs: A Photographic Celebration is one of the dime a dozen gift books that focuses on a particular theme.
As a result readers will find the usual formula - black-and-white themed photographs paired with themed quotations. Unlike some others, though, it was rather refreshing to have a list at the back that provided the reader with information about some of the included people in the photos and dog breeds while others were unfortunately rather obvious as well as non-informative
Otherwise I was rather not happy that the book also chose to include fake dogs such as a toy and puppet while another photo of a cairn terrier seemed rather fake or perhaps taxisermied although the information at the back gave no clue.
All in all it was cute but a quick glance before passing it on to the next reader.

Cute book of dogs, paired with quotes about living, working, and playing with dogs. A really cute book, that would make a nice gift for a dog-lover!

Puppydogs is a Hallmark gift book. A Christmas present from my brother in law. With a vintage photograph and a quote on each page, it is a superfast read.
