This book was a nice balance of scientific research and strategies. I appreciated following the stories of the four children as I could see connections to ones I have fostered. It was helpful to hear phrases I could use that may work regulate different behaviors.

This book was way too technical, and seemed more focused on therapists than on adoptive parents.
