Carol Channing and Dolly Madison were one and the same and therefore marvelous. I had the pleasure of seeing her at the Orpheum theater in San Francisco in 1995 during her 30th Hello Dolly anniversary tour and have seldom encountered such love between a star and an audience. I am sure that the musical is marvelous in its own right but why try to disentangle what was and ever will be bound up together.

This is a classic story. It is always good to read this. The waiter dance sequence gets me every time. Just have great vision of a well choreographed piece.

Was just in the orchestra pit for a high school production of this classic musical. I think they broke attendance records - the audience loved it!

I can see the beauty and the possibilities in this play that I had never had much knowledge of before. Listened to the music too.
