Hm I don't know what to feel about this book
I thought it would be a funny no-brainer kind of book with hilarious anecdotes
instead it was a pretty filthy , depressing look in the wolrd of strippers.
(It's prob my own faulth that I thought this would be funny)
However once you get passed the sadness, it's a good book, honest, funny at times, sad, revolting,.. it certainly keeps you interested
So 3 stars because it's not my kind of story but still read it till the end and didn't bore for a minute

An interesting autobiography about Dee's life during his 5 years as a strip-club DJ. It had some interesting arcs, opens on a strong note but finishes abruptly with Dee's final story about his favourite stripper. The stories have nothing particularly strong or noteworthy, there aren't any real life lessons, just anecdotes and funny experiences. I laughed once or twice while reading this and was disgusted at other times. I'm glad I read it and supported the show and Dee.

One word - "CRAZY!" Almost couldn't make it through this book, but like a train wreck I couldn't turn away. I am not easily shocked but I can tell you I was mortified by the first chapter. I love to read and especially focus on the weirder the better type of books but this book pushes the limits.

For those who listen to the "sick and wrong" podcast, this a must read. It's an insight into Dee Simon's former life as a strip club DJ, with many short stories from his days behind the decks in seedy establishments. These honest accounts of his life were my summer beach read and i couldn't put it down, the first story is available on Amazons 'look inside' and if you don't like that, do not read on.

Wow. I picked this book as I searched for something funny and this was listed as comedic. I don’t know what warranted this rating. This book was many things but funny was not one of them. It provided a glimpse into the world of strip clubs and was explicit, vulgar, & disheartening at times. That said, much like a car crash I couldn’t turn away.
