After the disastrous fire at the bookshop and bookshop things are beginning to look up for Beatrice and Eveleigh. Tayla is settling down working for her father's hotel chain and Penny and her husband Rowan have just returned from a world trip trying to save their marriage. They decide to have a 30 year school reunion and their new friend Charmaine offers to help organise this. In the background still is the invoice mystery of a murder many years before on the island.
This is definitely part of a series and the previous books should be read first. I'm not sure why so many books that I've been reading recently have featured food so heavily as I'm on a diet, but it certainly sound tempting. The ups and downs of the various relationships are probably true to life and keep you hoping that everything does work out. The murder mystery just bubbles below the surface and kept me guessing right until the reveal. A good finish to a series that I've enjoyed.

The murder mystery deepens just as Bea & Aiden return from their European dream honeymoon. What was Bea thinking, volunteering to organize a high school reunion? Her friends jump in to help her prepare for the reunion. And what could go wrong with a scavenger hunt? The book ties up loose ends. Romance is definitely in the air! Solving the murder mystery should make everyone breathe easier, but does it? I enjoyed this book as well as the entire series with descriptions that made the characters and island become real. The love, camaraderie, friendship and encouragement the ladies shared became a lasting bond that life's challenge couldn't break. As one character put it, "We're putting the pain of the past behind us and moving on." Life isn't perfect, but having friends such as these, certainly makes it easier.
I highly recommend the Coral Island series. Set in Australia, it's a great adventure! I received a complimentary ARC of this book and have voluntarily given my honest opinion in this review.

This book will make you smile, think about your school reunion, and enjoy the friends you have in your life. Having just celebrated our own class reunion, I had to smile at the antics, love the conversations around the table and laugh at comments of long ago. Love has found another couple; a baby is born, and the mystery of a murder is solved. This series has had hints, discoveries of evidence and finally it all comes together with surprising results. I’ve enjoyed the series and recommend the books be read in order with this great storyline as a conclusion. Thanks to the author for a great read!

an island reunion

I loved this collection of stories from Lilly Mirren! I felt I needed to read it because I loved the Waratah Inn collection so much. Ms. Mirren has, once again, given me a wonderful, complete story to enjoy. (with perhaps any additional stories to tell). The sisterhood of the women was amazing. I also loved the men they chose. I’m ready for more!!! Thank you!

I loved this series. This book did a great job of tying up the loose ends expecially a long tinme mystery. It was funtoread about the class reunion.You could really picture activities and conversations that took place. Again, this was a great series, I highly recommend this series and any other books by this author.

Coral Island series

With the reading of book 6 of the Coral Island series I have officially read everything that Lily Mirren has written. This book tied all the characters together and solved the murder. You will enjoy this book as you've enjoyed the others. Thank you Lily Mirren for another wonderful series

I really liked all of her books in this series.

I was a little disappointed with some of the things that happened in this book though, like how Bea's Dad was left out after his shark bite? You never heard about him after that. Also, the murder of Penny's Grandmother, come on now that was a little ridiculous!

The Reunion

Although the title, the reunion was only a small part of the story. Kind of sappy, but a perfect wrapping up of loose ends in the series. I enjoyed all of it!
