An introductory course in Russian for the general reader, covering key language points for a short stay in the USSR, divided into day-by-day sections. It contains dialogues, phrasebook sections and grammar notes, with exercises and full answers and gives a taste of life in Russia. The Russian is given in both cyrillic script to help recognize words and in Roman transliteration to help pronunciation. There is a cassette available, either on its own or in a pack with the book. Both authors are language editors who have already produced four titles in the series.
