AMAZING book!
I have been a violin teacher for over 12 years and love teaching the Suzuki method. However, the method is lacking in that when my students want other pieces to perform they only have access to a limited amount of songs. Whenever we try to pull out other songs they are always in the wrong key and are hard to play. THIS BOOK IS THE BEST because it has transposed every song into keys that are easy positions to play. My students can use this for church, school and family performances because the pieces actually sound good AND can be played by a true beginner. I will be purchasing every volume of this collection. Hands down, best supplemental resource out there!

A beautiful collection of songs for the violin
Author Kathryn Miller offers up a lovely collection of songs that can be studied by beginner violinists, used as sight-reading for more advanced students, or as encore pieces for a soloist.
I appreciate the consistency between song selection and key in this violin book as it is mirrored by the author's book for beginner cello players. These books are ideal for public school music programs as the students can play in unison.
I highly recommend this series of books.

Great for Beginners!
The book features well-known and beloved classics like "Spring" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons and "Amazing Grace," all arranged specifically for beginners. The piano accompaniments add a beautiful dimension to the music. Easy pieces, perfect for new violinists. 5 stars!

Perfect Song Collection
As someone who used to accompany his violinist daughter on the piano, what an absolute wonderful collection of songs. And having both parts here is a huge bonus. Some of these are a little challenging but it is a great mix of some of the true standards that all violinists should learn.

Recognizable songs all written in A Major, which is great for a beginner still fumbling with bowing. I look forward to practicing these!
