I’m never leaving you again Em. Never! You are mine. Do you understand me? Mine! And if I have to spend the rest of my life finding every single piece of your broken heart, I will. I will put you back together again Em. I’ll do it because I’m still so in love with you. I will fix you, and I’ll fix this.”

I really liked their story, the ups and downs were a nice read to go through.
Em and Finn were just amazing :')
Lovedddd Harper and Ky!

West was a fucking bastard. I wanted to do bodily harm him!

Really loved this book, looking forward to the next one; Have a strong feeling its about Harper and I already know her loud mouth is going to make me love the book. I just hope she doesn't turn out to become a spineless woman like how Trish became in Trish, Just Trish because she too was loud mouthed in the first book then suddenly sucked major ass in her own book.
Btw, Loved Harper. Funny ass, loud mouthed bitch :D

I absolutely positively freaking loved it.

So the story goes:

Well Finley, Finley, Finn lets just start by saying....

You are so....

I so wanted to be mad at him for breaking Emilyn's heart but I just couldn't do it. I was instantly in love with him and every time he spoke I loved him more. Yes, he broke her I mean broke her but he had his reasons and they were justifiable. He did what he felt was right at the time but he never stopped loving her. And she never stopped loving him. Now there worlds were about to collide after 10 years and the love they share is just as strong. But Em is now married to Weston, but not happily, she's holding on, doing what's expected of her but her heart has always belonged to and with Finn.

Weston made me sooo....

I wanted to....

Him, even before he got caught with his pants down, screwing the nasty slut Julia. Then I wanted to....

Him.

Harper, well she was the ultimate best friend. She always had Em's back and protected her fiercely. She was loyal, funny and a tough chick. She constantly had me....

When she would go off on Weston I was...

You go girl!!!

I believe my heart stopped beating when Em discovers she was pregnant, I was so upset. But when Finn steps in, I was a little better but I was so hurt because I wanted Em and Finn to have the babies. What a hurdle but it doesn't stop Finn at all. He stand true to his " Tiny Girl" when he says he is going nowhere. *squee*

I was so caught up in the story and everything was going so well and then things happen and my heart is ripped from my chest. I swear I thought it was happening to me. I understood what Em was saying but I didn't want it to happen.

This is a story do first love, true love, soul mates, love lost and second chances.

I.....

I was .....

And...

I'm sorry.... I'm trying to like this book... But I can't !!
The book started off strong...i was like... yeah.... this is going to be a good book.....but once you start to know the Main character...forget it!
I find Emilyn Extremely frustrating and aggravating!!!! I mean grow a backbone!!!! Say something!!!! Argue!!! Stop Relying on other people To fight your battles!!!!
First of all... If my high school boyfriend left me with out a word as to why he left ... I wouldn't be so forgiving!!! I would want answers As to why he left right away... Not prolong it...
Then she Decides to move in with him which is crazy!!! Come on now...ughhh
Then the whole husband thing....once again...say something ...argue!
I just wish Emilyn would have put up more of a fight with Finley. Make him work for it... That would've been more realistic...

A SWEET SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE....

What a cute story!! A sweet story about high school sweethearts that got a 2nd chance 10 years later....

Finn and Emilyn were seniors in high school and in love...Em was ready to spend her life with Finn after graduation and live happily ever after but something makes Finn leave the night of graduation... leaving Em devastated and heart broken and unable to pick up the pieces of her broken heart. Eventually she starts to heal and ends up married to a up and coming lawyer that moves her to Chicago so he can be all that he can be. Em ends up in a loveless marriage to a real dickhead. She fly's back home to Idaho for her 10 year high school reunion. Her most awesome bff ever, Harper, still lives in her old town and they've stayed very close over the years. Harper has always been her rock and saw knows how devastated she was when Finn left town. She's only going to this reunion because Harper has assured her that Finn will NOT be there....10 years later Finn still holds her broken heart in his hands. Time hasn't diminished her feelings for him and she couldn't bare to see him.

Emilyn....

Finn is living is now living in California with his best friend Kylar.. they write music and are hitting it big in the industry.. he also never got over Emilyn and left her for some pretty dumb reasons in my opinion
Finn...

Well of course they run into each other at the reunion and Emilyn is floored..she can barely breath around him. Flinn wants to talk to her and try to reconnect.. she's everything he ever wanted. But Em is married now and as much as her heart wants Finn and her marriage is a joke she can't take what she wants... they share one amazing kiss the night of the reunion and it sends her flying home early. Flying home to get away from Finn and all the feelings he's opened back up in her.

Em gets home and finds her husband screwing another woman and he's not at all sorry about it. He's a total douche! So Em packs up a few things and fly's right back home to Idaho where Harper and her parents are. She's filing for divorce and moving on with her life. In the mean time..

Once Finn finds out that Emilyn is back home he's coming back too.. to do whatever it takes to make Emilyn his again. He realizes what an awful mistake he made and he's going to get her back..

But it's a hard road with plenty of obstacles, loss, heartache, and uncertainty....I was crushed a few times..there were some pretty sad moments for such a sweet book. For the most part, this was a sweet feel good story..there was however some very sad moments that added some depth and strong emotional undercurrents. Just the right amount of sorry and angst without going overboard..

But we do get an HEA And it was so sweet and the road they traveled to get there was a great story.. I enjoyed every page of it.. definitely looking forward to reading Harper and Kylar's story.. Harper is hilarious and takes no shit off of anyone, especially Kylar.

I definitely recommend this one when you are looking for something sweet and emotional with not too much angst.. a great second chance love story with a sweet HEA.

“...I’m never leaving you again Em. Never! You are mine. Do you understand me? Mine! And if I have to spend the rest of my life finding every single piece of your broken heart, I will. I will put you back together again Em. I’ll do it because I’m still so in love with you. I will fix you, and I’ll fix this...”

Swoon! I loved this book! Such a refreshing down to earth story about love, love lost and the journey it takes to find redemption and to win back that love that you let slip through your fingers.

This is the story of Emilyn and Finley. They were high school sweet hearts attached to hip, very much in love and did everything together. But that all changed after graduation night when Finn decides to break up with Em leaving her shattered, heartbroken and alone.

Believing that her life is over Em becomes a recluse, a shell of the girl that she once was, but that is until she meets Weston. An up and coming young lawyer in her father's firm he is relentless in his pursuit to win Em over and after a whirlwind romance she finds herself a married woman and moving to Chicago with her new beau. But looks can be deceiving and after 8 years of marriage she realises that her husband is not as attentive as he used to be, and feels as if her marriage is slowly slipping away. She then receives a call from her BFF Harper about a high school reunion and reluctantly agrees to go.

Finley has been living the high life in California as a sort out music writer. He's at the top of his game and is highly successful however after almost 10 years he still has one great regret and that is letting the love of his life go. After receiving an email about a high school reunion he decides last minute to attend the gathering with his best friend Kyler...and that's when the story really begins.

I enjoyed this book a lot. Em and Finn's relationship was really cute and I loved them together.

Ok I really need to get this off my chest so forgive me while I vent...!!

WESTON IS SUCH AN ASSHOLE! Like honestly Grade A pure bred Asshole! He was such a cold, heartless, selfish, manipulative bastard!! I don't think I've ever hated a character quite like I hate him and that is really saying something coz I only hate three other characters like him! Honestly who treats his wife of 8 years with no respect and then flaunts his shit right in front of her without even considering her feelings...and gives her car away after knowing how much she loved the thing...aaaannd had the nerve to treat her with so little respect with no sympathy whatsoever after she had JUST gone through a traumatic experience...!! I swear my blood boiled every time he entered a room, I wish I had a bat so I could beat his face in coz I just know that whatever he's about to say is just as vile and as poisonous as he is! Gaaaahhh I hate him! Oh and Em really??!!! Grow a back bone and stand up for yourself! I hated the fact that she let him treat her that way and didn't have the balls to talk back to him or even slap the bastard coz lord knows he deserved that and so much more! Kudos to Finn for knocking him on his ass even if it was just one punch it still was very satisfying to read! Ok vent over!

I loved this book and totally fell in love with Finn! He was so devoted to Em that even after finding out the reason she was avoiding him he didn't let it hurt his pride and ego but chose to overlook it and loved her anyway! Oh and Harper! Loved her! What an amazeballs bestie! She was hilarious and was super loyal!
“...I swear to god if he hurts you i'll string him by his toes and shove a hot fire poker in his ass...” See? Absolutely awesome! Lol

Well all in all I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to anyone out there!

"I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm so fucking sorry!"

This story managed to rip my heart to shreds and then slowly put me back together again.

I can't possibly review this without a few spoilers….

18yr old Finley and Emilyn were in love.

On Graduation night Finn breaks Em's heart leaving her alone to pick up the pieces of her life.

description

10 years have past and we meet Emilyn, who is about to head home for her high school reunion. Em is married to West. West came into her life a year after Fin left. West is a successful Lawer and over the years has worked his way up the ladder.
Em gave up everything when she married West. Her days are spent alone and for the last 2 years her marriage has been slipping away.

Coming home for the reunion was meant to be easy. Fin wasn't on the attendee list so when she encounters him the night before Em's perfect happy facade comes crumbling down.

Focusing the last 10 years on his career, Finley is finally being honest with himself that he isn't happy, something is missing.

After a brief encounter with Em, Finn realises how much he really has missed Em.
The night of the Reunion, Em and Fin fight emotions and feelings that bubble to the surface. Finley asks Em if she truly is happy….

description

Em's answer encourages him to take a risk and kiss her.

description

Panic washes over Em and she flees the scene.
Guilt pushes her to head straight home back to her husband.
Arriving a day earlier than expected, Em walks in on West in bed with another woman.

Omg.. that whole scene was intense.

~ "What the fuck is going on here?" I bit out.
Neither of them said a word, but at least West had the decency to move away from Julia, pulling a sheet around his waist as he did. The silence was doing nothing but pissing me off even more.
"I said, what the Fuck is going on here… IN MY BED!?" I screamed. ~

With her sham of a marriage over, Em heads back home to get her life back in order.
Hiding low, Em is distancing herself from a persistent Finn, who won't give up calling and texting, letting Em they will eventually talk about that kiss.

This is where I was thrown a curve ball.

Couple weeks later Em finds out she is Pregnant to douche bag West.

I did not see that coming at all!!

After a couple months of Em avoiding him, Finn heads back home to confront her. He is aware that her marriage is over, but when he shows up and see's Em pregnant, he understands her reasons for avoiding him.

Finn is seriously the sweetest man EVER. To step up and be a man the way he was with Em and the pregnancy had me totally swooning.

~Even though she was carrying another man's child- a man that I had grown to despise- this child was life. A life that was half her, and because of that I automatically felt love for it and would do anything to protect it.~

Vowing to be apart of her life, in whatever capacity she is comfortable with, Finn promises that he isn't giving up on her this time.

~"I came here because I heard you were going through some things. The idea of being away from you when I could possibly help was something I couldn't stomach. i cam her because I want to be here with you. I asked you to move in with me because I want you to live here. I'm ring to go to your appointments because I want to be there for you and this baby. Nothing I'm doing here is out of obligation."~

As the pregnancy goes on, Finn and Em can't fight their feelings any longer.
But can Em trust Finn not to break her. Can she open up herself to the possibility that handing over her heart again could destroy again.

~I’m never leaving you again Em. Never! You are mine. Do you understand me? Mine! And if I have to spend the rest of my life finding every single piece of your broken heart, I will. I will put you back together again Em. I’ll do it because I’m still so in love with you. I will fix you, and I’ll fix this.”

But Em and Finn are about to face more heartbreak, can they survive another goodbye? or will it be too late? Is too much to overcome.

I loved everything about this.
I loved the second chance romance. I loved Finn. My heart broke for Em and I was rooting for them the whole way through.
The steam factor was hot, and the scene when she get caught with the Vibrator was GOLD!! I was laughing so hard then was left panting!!!
West was the BIGGEST DOUCHE. What a Twat!

This was an amazing Debut by Stacy Borel.
Can't wait for Harper's story. She really was a hoot and had so many great lines in this!

~"I've been stuck with average men; the kind that you take home to meet the family. Fuck you, no thanks! I need someone built, dangerous, who isn't afraid to pull my hair when he is fucking me."~

Would definitely recommend this one.

Emi and Finn broke up in high school. Emily thought Finn was the love of her life but he left Idaho to make a songwriting career in LA. Emi went on to marry another man. Her marriage is stale but she thinks they can still make it work. Emi goes to her 10 year reunion and bumps into Finn..she loses herself in a kiss with Finn..but she doesn't take it any further. She goes back early to her husband reuniting what her relationship was with Finn and how it ended.

Then she walks into her husband balls deep in another woman..a wonan he declares his love for and wants a divorce. The bastard doesn't even try to stop the fmc as she runs back to her small town in Idaho from Chicsgo.

Then her worse nightmare continues..she finds out she's pregnant. Finn comes to her rescue and becomes ger protector if her time of grief.

I do really like second chance romance but one thing I didn't like was the ex husband was just too evil. His actions made him a caricature of this cold, unfeeling villian. With Finn being too good after previously destroying the fmcs heart.

I had the honor of beta reading for Stacy Borel’s Ever Enough. What an amazing book and Stacy is one of the sweetest people I have met (even though I have never really met her, I feel like I have). Stacy sent me Ever Enough chapter by chapter, and at the end of each one I was begging for more. It was a book that had it all. It warmed your heart, made you laugh, made you cry, made you cuss…ALOT… but in the end it just made you feel good.

Emilyn was such a great character. It was so nice to see her grow. Broken by Finn at high school graduation all she really did for ten years was exist, she didn’t live. Life has a lot of tough lessons for her but man did she come out stronger. I will say that her husband Weston is a MAJOR ASSHAT!! But it wont take you long to figure it out.

Finn…..swoon….. Finn. I lurve him. He was the popular foot ball player in high school who made a choice to leave come graduation day. Thinking he was making the right decision he quickly realized how wrong he was. I have several highlighted passages in my book that deal with Finn but I don’t want to reveal too much. You will just have to read and find out.

Em and Finn have the GREATEST best friends. Every girl needs a Harper ( I got mine) and every guy needs a Kyler. They are there to tell it like it is and pick up the pieces. They will guard your heart and soul and make you laugh like crazy. Men protect your balls around Harper, piss her off and she has some very interesting ideas on how to make you suffer.

I feel like I could never do this book justice with the review I may write. I really can’t put my finger on why I love it so much, I just do. I made the mistake of reading bits and pieces while I was working and at times I was laughing out loud and other times I was crying. Then I would message Stacy telling her what a dumbass I was for reading at work. Do your self a favor and read this book!!! Plus there will be more to the story, a little birdie told me that we may learn more about Harper and Kyler next. I can’t wait!!!

What can I say....I am a sucker for a second chance love story. I thought this book was AMAZING. I was hooked from page one all the way to the end. This book had it all....there were funny times ( a lot of Kyler and Harper's comments), there were sweet moments ( Finn and Emilyn together), there moments I wanted to throw my kindle and yell at it ( Anything to do with Weston and Valerie, both were twatwaffles), there were also sad moments ( I can't explain because it would spoil the book), and then there was also HAPPY moments. I know I said that this was a book about second chance love but it was also a book about a woman's journey to finding her true self and her true self worth. I really enjoyed Emilyn as a main character, although I truly did feel as though she was a doormat at times in the book ( mostly pertaining to her marriage to Weston the douche) but i was glad to see that in the end she realized that everything she went through in her life was for a purpose and got her to the point she got to in the end of the book. I really like Finley aka Finn. I think that he showed throughout the story that he truly loved and was devoted to Emilyn even after leaving her all those years ago. He was totally swoon worthy in my book :) The secondary characters, Kyler and Harper and Emilyn's parents, were amazing as well. They were such great support systems for both Emilyn and Finley. Some of the things that came out of Harper and Kyler's mouth was downright hysterical. I look forward to reading their book later this year.

My only negative to this book was that there were some editing issues...like missing words or the wrong word in a sentence, but I will say that it wasn't bad enough to deter me from enjoying this book immensely.

I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, especially if you enjoy a book about Second Chances at Love!!!!!!

This is another tragic, roller coaster ride of emotion and drama, drama and drama.

For the past ten years, all Emilyn did was exist, she didn’t live - Ever since Finley left her during their High school graduation. But after slowly picking up parts of her life she met Weston , a lawyer who was able to give her everything she needed. But then he slowly spends more time on his work and is slowly fading away from her..

Her growth as a character greatly shows here but what I don't get is how she could spend such too long time with her husband if she's not all happy. It's frustrating to see how she let her no-good husband manhandle her and her life. If she isn’t happy why stay inside the marriage? I know it’s not an easy task but after ten years, can't she just grow a backbone and speak up how she feels? Yes, she became stronger and learned her lessons along the way but damaged could be much controlled if she speaks up earlier.

As for Finley, he’s heartthrob worthy but I'm sorry to say his magic didn’t work out well for me. He's all so noble and nice with him choosing to leave Emilyn believing that that would make her happy and that’s the right thing but unfortunately there Is like this need to know more of him to truly justify his character.

I love love love Harper! She’s the only thing that is rational enough on this story! She has this nasty mouth of vocabulary but being friends with her is one great privilege. She would stand up and be there with you through the good and bad times - just like what she did with Emily.

We see glimpses of what happened between Emilyn and Finley during their past – their first meeting and even the first kiss but what was lacking for me is the set of activities that they’ve been in too for the long time that they’re not together. Emilyn became a housewife while Finley is a song-writer but what more? I’m itching to know more to build up their characters.

Oh and by the way, I’m happy that they achieved their HEA, but if I was on the place of Emilyn, I could’ve made Finley work harder to get me back. ;)

In all, Ever Enough is a book that shows how second chances especially in love are still accepted. That despite all the trial, heartache and time, you will find your way with one another if it’s really meant to be. The ending seems to be pushed and just set to put things where they’re supposed to be. But yes, its an okay read in all.

Well lets see where do I begin. This book was fabulous . I laughed I cried I was sad and I was down right pissed off, wanting to commit a book murder . I will start with the folks I disliked Weston , Julia and Aubrey and her minions and Val .West -seriously pissed me off how could anyone be do callous I would love to inflict some bodily harm on that man. Julia - Was just a whore plain and simple . Aubrey -bitch get a life . Val -how desperate could you be Jesus have some self worth your not wanted.
Now on to those I loved Em,Harper,Ky and Finn
Emilyn - her story broke my heart . Self confidence is our strongest weapon and she did not have that . Stuck in a loveless marriage for to long because her heart belonged to her one great love. The way her story played out was great she became a whole new women by then end and deserved her HEA kudos for going after it.
Finn - grrrrr I could have punched you how dare you not follow your heart out of fear of failure . I would rather risk failure and be happy than be miserable for 10 years for not claiming what was mine. Glad you grew up in this book and took charge when needed .
Ky & Harper looking forward to that story. I love Harpers rawness and the lack of filter on her mouth.she was a fiercely loyal beat friend Her and Ky are meant to be this should be a fun book.

The blurb and cover are SUPER CUTE. Marking as a top TBR.

I am a sucker for first loves, soul mates and stories about the one that got away. This story had it all and then some. Finding your way back to one another is tough, but Finn never wavered in his quest to win Em's heart again. He stood by her while she was pregnant with her ex-husband's child and during her divorce. Em losing her baby and walking away from Finn after the first time they made love had me in tears. I felt that Em truly needed time to find herself and heal in order to fully appreciate the second chance that she and Finn have been given and pave the road to their happily ever after.

I loved the supporting characters in this story. Finn and Em's two best friends added comedy to this read and lightened the mood. I can't wait to see how their story unfolds in their book.

I was surprised by the spoilers in other reviews. I feel the need to set the record straight on 2 things.

After H/h meet at the reunion, neither are with any OP again. The H had already dumped his GF and the h gets divorced from her cheating husband.

The H originally leaves because he wants the h to make sure HE’S the one for her...NOT the other way around. Multiple times he mentions he ALWAYS knew she was it for him. He goes back for her 18 months after he leaves and finds out she’s serious about someone and he lets her go.

While I don’t agree with his reasoning I feel he got a bit shafted by reviewers.

2 stars cuz I was bored as fuck

I enjoyed this book. I think that for a first novel it´s really good. It´s a fast read and not to angsty. The one problem I had was the heroine. She was a doormat, and I really had trouble connecting with her because of that. So, in my mind I rewrited the scenes where she seriouslly pissed me off, otherwise I couldn´t have had finished it. I´m looking forward to the next book about Harper, I really loved her character.

--------------------
Squeeeeeeeee!! I have a feeling I´m gonna love this one. I´m a sucker for long lost loves.

I gave this book 3 stars soley on the fact that I liked the idea of the story line. I usually love second chance romances, but this one was quite mediocre. I couldn't picture some of the dialgue being believable, sometimes they seemed a bit cheesy. And the Finn and Em fell right into a relationship too quickly after 10 years apart. It didn't seem realistic which made it hard to connect with the characters. So overall....2.5 - 3 stars

Get some grammar lessons, ffs

Ridiculous mess of a book. The heroine was lame, another weak doormat. Her whingeing about not being good enough through the whole story - even in the epilogue! - gave me indigestion. I literally begged at one point for her to stand her ground. Yeah. As if.
I truly hated her guts.
The hero was a selfish jackhole made out to be some martyr who made this noble 'sacrifice' so she could experience life and be sure of what she wanted. And by sacrfice I mean dumping her without explanation, moving to LA to pursue his dreams whilst jamming his pecker into every female orifice he encountered.
Sorry, what?
Since when is leaving your girl in the dust after you promised forever gonna help her be happy in her life? What a shiteweasel.

And that stupid nickname. Tiny Girl. 'My Tiny Girl' this and 'My Tiny Girl' that. I wanted to spew.
All the peripheral characters were sooo cliché, too. The obnoxious, overbearing bff, the cheating, arsehat ex who is painted as all bad. The delusional OW who can't let go.
All the women were snarky, 'Mean Girl' clones.
There was a contrived baby plot that was handled terribly, too.

And these people were all like, 30, and behaved like high school or college kids.

Loads of editing mistakes as well. So many I couldn't tell you. But the differences between things like 'to' and 'too,' or 'past' and 'passed' are taught in second or third grade. It takes a lot of nerve to write so sloppily and still fancy oneself as a writer.
This so-writer needs to march her happy ass back to school to bone up on the English language.
Stupid story, unlikable characters and crappy editing.
Don't waste my time.

Four Stars

“I swear I’m never leaving you again Em. Never! You are mine. Do you understand me? Mine! And if I have to spend the rest of my life finding every single piece of your broken heart, I will. I will put you back together again Em. I’ll do it because I’m still so in love with you. I will fix you, and I’ll fix this.”

Emilyn and Finley were high school sweethearts. They were very much in love with each other. It all came crashing down when Finley ups and leaves her on their graduation night. Emilyn is devastated. She doesn’t understand why and she never fully recovers from losing Finn. She even enters a loveless marriage, a marriage that ends in disaster. But I’ll save that for later.

Emilyn and Finn are given a second chance when they meet again for their ten-year high school reunion. Emilyn is a hard sell when it comes to attending, but with the help of her kick ass best friend, Harper, she is convinced that not only Finn won’t be there, but also attending would be a fun getaway from her husband. When they see each other, they realize what they knew all along: They belong together, but with their circumstances, her marriage, their distance…how will it all end?

“I’ll follow your rules and stay behind your line in the sand. But the moment you cross that line yourself, or you ask me for more, it’s game on.” He winked at me and walked away.
Jesus H. Christ.
I was fucked.

Emilyn finds out the hard way that her husband is not only cheating asshole, but also an all around piece of shit. Yea, I’m not sugarcoating…he’s a fucking douche. Luckily we have Finn to take our mind and hearts away. Though Emilyn is hesitant to give her heart again, it’s only a matter of time before Finn breaks through her shell.

I really enjoyed Em and Finn’s story. There are a lot of things that are thrown in the mix, and it’s not as predictable as I thought it would be; it made for great drama. I also LOVED Em’s best friend Harper. She is amazing and so fabulously fun…I’m hoping that the next book (if there is one) to be about her and Finn’s BFF Kyler.

I do have to mention a few things that bothered me, prevented me from giving it a full five stars. One – the reasoning behind why Finn left Em in high school wasn’t good enough for me. Two – the ending seemed a little rushed and I wanted just a little more. Three – I wish the epilogue included something about Em’s ex-husband, like, say he got gonorrhea or something. Trust me…the cheating bastard deserves every horrible thing. Haha.

I had the honor of being a BETA reader for Stacy, and from the first time I read this book I told her it was going to be amazing. I read this book 3 times and each time I fell more and more in love with it! The story line was different from what I had been reading, the young love and perfect life. This book is more realistic, with real life situations, and adults that have real jobs and have experienced life. I was so excited for Stacy to release her book so everyone can see how amazing this book is. And I had the pleasure of getting to know Stacy. :)

So this book got me from the first sentence, and I wanted to know everything right away, the only sucky part of being a BETA is that you'll be done with a chapter and have to wait a bit to get more the story and I would send Stacy messages saying hurry please!!!! LOL

Anyways the story of Finn and Em is great. High school sweethearts that haven't seen each other in years and attending their high school reunion can change everything. Are the feelings still as strong as they once were? Has too much changed in the years they haven't seen each other? Well you'll get all those answers as the story unfolds. Then there's Kyler and Harper, the two best friends, yeah they make the story that much better! Kyler the hottie football player and Harper the no filter pretty girl. The tension between those two is just awesome. So all four of these characters together make for one hell of a book and your emotions will be everywhere when it comes to Em and Finn!

So make sure you go read it! You won't be disappointed!

Can't wait for Kyler & Harper's story! ;) (DISCLAIMER: KYLER IS MINE! ;))

Wow I really enjoyed this book and it wasn't really what I was expecting.

The story is about Emilyn - a girl whose heart was broken right after graduation and she decided to mend it with artificial love. She got married to the first man that showed her the attention she craved and 8 years down the road realised that it wasn't real love.

At a school reunion she met up with the man that broke her heart those many moons ago and realised her heart was still his but she couldn't do anything about it.

Finley- a gorgeous song writer and the one that had broken her heart had continued to love Emilyn from afar. He didn't want to step into her life and get in the way. Until their roads crossed at the reunion, he couldn't hold back any more.

Their love was tangible and at every moment I was aching for the HEA. Steamy moments, chemistry, some angst and a rollercoaster of 'will they?' - 'won't they?'. I really enjoyed reading from both their POVs.

The story was surrounded by the comedy of Harper and Ky... Harper is Emilyn's best friend since 7th grade- she doesn't mince her words, is blunt, crass and the best friend that will put you first at all costs. She's brilliant- Ky is her mirror male version and at some point it would be great for them to get together and hear about their story...

I laughed and cringed in this book- especially with Emilyn. I wanted to slap her and get her to grow a backbone, to look at what she had rather than look at what she thought she didn't...

Good book!- Enjoy!

I liked this story, but I wasn't too thrilled with the lead female character Emilyn. I felt for 28 she was quite immature in her actions at certain times. Like when she totally freaks out over Finn (more than once) and has to be taken away by her friend. This seemed to annoy me for some reason.

With that out of the way, I did like this book and wonder, are there really guys out there pining for their lost love like Finn was for Em even after ten years? So sweet. Em and Finn were high school sweethearts until he up and left her on graduation night. No explanation, he was just gone and she was crushed beyond belief. After lying around depressed for months, Em's dad gets her a job at his law firm where she meets West.

Em is married to West for 8 years when she decides to go back to her ten year high school reunion with her best friend Harper-who I love, such a mouth on that girl! Of course Finn and his best friend Kyler, who gets along swell with Harper-not. At the reunion Finn tries to talk to Em and explain the night he left, but they end up kissing instead and she runs out.

I like the surprise in this book to complicate things for Em an Finn, I didn't see it coming at all and wondered chapter after chapter how it was actually going to work out. Great book, great supporting characters and a great ending.

I LOVED this book! Stacy did a great job at grabbing my attention from the very beginning. I never felt like it kept repeating itself and the story just flowed very well. This was an emotional book with drama, love, hate, humor, growing and of course HOT SEX! (Can't go wrong with that!)

Emilyn is quiet, shy, beautiful, and has an empty heart. 10 years ago her heart was filled with love and joy till graduation day came and the love of her life decided to shatter her heart and world.

Finn is the high school football star, sexy, blue-eyed boy who destroyed Em's world and went to follow his dream in LA to become a song writer.

Harper and Kyler are the best friends. They are hilarious! She has a sailors mouth and isn't afraid to threaten any mans balls who gets in her way or anyone she loves. Kyler, is a big kid and never stops joking around. The sexual tension between them in this book does nothing but make you root them on to just hurry up and sleep together!

Go with these four to their class reunion and see what seeing people from your past does to your future. Old memories that got locked away resurface and watch how they deal with them. Secrets from the past and secrets from the future will be surfaced and Emilyn needs to deal with them. Read along and grow with the quiet shy girl who grows and finds her way. I give this book 5 stars!

I say this with tears of joy in my eyes...dammit I loved that!

Loved every single character...besides the asshat aka West. Man that guy was something else...I'd like to say a very bad word but I won't.

I couldn't help but finish the book in one sitting. Em was a great lead and I enjoyed watching her grow as a character. So many people were harsh to her throughout the book, it pained me to see her just take it and agree with what was said.

Lately, I have been starting books and have been unable to finish them. So glad I found Ever Enough because it was just what I needed.

It has everything I want and love in a story. I laughed (vibrator scene anyone?), I cried(a bunch), I got mad, I swooned, i fell in love, I freaken giggled like a school girl, i could go on and on...
I think the book has found a very special place in my heart. It may have to do with the fact that I related to Em and felt a deep connection to her. I feel like the author reached into my mind and wrote a story that channeled me.

I highly recommend Ever Enough. I am also excited to see what the author has in store for her next story. Maybe we will get Harper and Ky? ;)
Oh, please...I hope so! Those two are so cute.

Another story about taking A LOT of chances and risks with love. This was very swoon worthy and the value of friendship and family was highlighted. I love Emilyn, she has suffered so much hurt and yet she remained strong in the end. And I admire Finn's persistence in being there for her until the end. She kept on pushing him away and yet his faith in her to be back never faltered.

Let me just say though, I just hate Weston and his whore Julia for putting Emilyn in such heartache that while I was reading the book, I wanted to reach in and castrate Weston's nuts and I wanted to claw the sluts face. Needless to say I wanted to see them suffer. I know I'm such a masochist but I feel that they absolutely deserve those things. They were both selfish and ungrateful people.

I wish I had a best friend like Harper. The girl is hilarious and loyal like no other. No wonder Emilyn got through with every problem because she's always there. And I'm excited to know that it will be her and Kyler in the next book! I knew that their story won't be left untouched and without a happy ending.

Can't wait!
