Good Start for Series
Chase Jannock rolls out a new series with lively potential in Hotel Harem: Book 2. The Lonely Professor. We meet the narrator, twenty-something Leo, a fairly typical harem book hero with fighting skills, hard muscles and a soft hand with the ladies. His undereducated intelligence. background as a club bouncer, and hard luck story of childhool abuse is a perfect launching pad to land him the job of concierge an exclusive hotel catering to a very wealthy female clientele.
Of course, Leo's impeccable manners and Hollywood-star good looks land him on other worlds with the women who need a friend or lover.
If you like "harem" fiction, like me, this one offers a little different spin on the subgenre. A good story. Lively and basically believable characters. Jannock writes smooth prose with just enough erotica to keep you awake and reading into the wee hours. You will like the hero and the women he serves as all-purpose hotel conceriege.
Already started reading Book 2. Recommended, if you like the genre. Adult fiction, not for the kids.
