It’s time for Nicky to visit the doctor, and thanks to Richard Scarry’s beloved Busytown characters, this checkup is an exciting adventure of discovery. From seeing how tall he is and having his eyesight checked, to listening to a heartbeat and getting a shot, Nicky—and other young children—will have their minds put at ease when they see that a trip to the doctor is nothing to be afraid of.

I loved this book as a kid! Such a classic about a family of rabbits. It helped me to feel better before going to the doctor for a checkup. Richard Scarry is a genius!
a good book before going to a doctor visit. Elliot enjoyed it. I grew up with Richard Scarry books, so I enjoyed it, though it was pretty dry and matter-of-fact, which is fine
This is a good story to help introduce children to what it is like to visit the doctor. It helps make the experience seem less frightening. The text is small and the story isn't tremendously engaging, unless you are reading this story to a child who is interested in their visit to the doctor.
It has a very akward set of pages where the doctor is sitting back at his desk and asks the little bunny to strip down to his underwear. No thanks. That's not something I want my kids to think is okay.
