The worst dude ever. What the hell did I read. And the ending is a cliffhanger like it needs to even be a cliffhanger. This girl to, no back bone.

Another great addition to Groveton College. As it states in the title this one is about a Dirty Dean and an innocent college student.
Chris Groveton came back from the Marines and took on the role of Dean as the start of his revenge against a father he would never live up to and a step brother who ended up with everything that should have gone to a "true" Groveton.
His plan doesn't fully come together until his step niece, Jazz applies to his college and is awarded a full scholarship. Which in Chris' eyes are the lowest of low in his school. But instead of denying her entry HD sees it as his opportunity to draw her in, wreck her, destroy her step dad, and finally get his revenge.
Jazz was raised by a helicopter mom and started college as a shielded naive inexperienced young woman. Until her step uncle steps in to teach and guide her. But not in a good way.
The build up in the book is amazing. It's a rollercoaster of push and pull between Chris' need for revenge and the feelings and guilt that wage war against each other.
My only critique was how fast the ending came about and resolved. 97% if the book is about their building of Daddy, sub, little relationship and when the rug gets pulled it's done and resolved quickly and I felt a bit rushed. But it didn't take away from the story just made me feel a sort of way with the ending.
I was happy to see the men from Psycho series make a brief appearance. Definitely check the trigger warnings because the hot and cold Dean pushes a lot of boundaries!!

Dirty Dean is exactly what the title says! Jasmine is freshly graduated from high school ready to attend her dream college. Christoper is the Dean who can’t get enough of her! The lies! The corruption 😉! The kink! This book is all that and more!

If you've read any of SJ Ransom's work before, you will probably see the difference in how dark her stories are. For example, if you compare the Psychos in Love books to her recent release De Vil, although both dark romances, they are on differing ends of the spectrum in my opinion, and the fact this book has cameo roles from the Powers brothers should give you an idea as to what side of the spectrum this story falls on, and I loved it.
Dirty Dean is the story of Christopher, the Dean of Groveton College, and his step-niece Jazz, who received a scholarship from the college to attend. Wanting revenge on his stepbrother, Chris decides to use Jazz's innocence to get that revenge by pushing her into a D/s relationship with some very strict rules that see him at times taking things too far. He then uses proof of their relationship to destroy not only his stepbrother but Jazz as well, citing that he never cared about her in the first place, although the differing POV that we get to read shows us as readers that that isn't the truth.
I loved the cameo roles of side characters in this book, from the Powers brothers to Laura the Coach from Coach's Pet; they added a bit more depth to the story that otherwise predominantly just involved Chris and Jazz and their twisted relationship.
S.J. Ransom does an amazing job of creating characters. She managed to showcase Jazz as someone so sweet, kind, and vulnerable, ultimately broken by what happened to her, but we saw her regain some of her power even when it hurt her to do so, and I went from both loving and loathing Chris and then back again.
There were some teasers throughout the book, like the mention of the character Lily, the aftermath of what Chris did, and the ending that said 'for now', so I look forward to seeing what else happens in Groveton.

Jazz, like most young women, is attracted to what she is told she cannot or should not have. She immediately starts cyber stalking Chris, developing a crush. When she finally meets him for the first time, she’s already half way under his spell.
But the Dean is cold and dirty, and plotting some fairly calculating (and deserved), revenge against his father and step-brother. Jazz doesn’t deserve to used, but Chris is obsessively attracted to her, even though he refuses to look at THAT!
S.J. writes a very dark relationship between the two of them. It’s a Dominant/Daddy/Little/Submissive/Slave dynamic. Unfortunately, Jazz doesn’t grasp the true ramifications of their contract, and Chris’s intentions, until it is too late.
The world Ransom has built within the Groveton world is pretty insular, there are four primary characters that matter. As well as a couple of supporting characters, as well as characters from other books show up. It’s all very well written, I couldn’t put it down. Though, I can’t lie, I wanted to take a flogger to Chris, and tie Jazz to a chair for a very long talking to. It absolutely kept me invested in what was going to happen. Plot twist is totally worth the wait.

Okay, I don’t even know where to start with this book. First off, I finished it in one day. ONE DAY! Now I’m going to be honest here and say I didn’t think I was going to finish the book. I have a past trauma that I didn’t know this book would be a little triggering for me in the beginning but I am absolutely soooo glad I pushed through and kept reading!!! Once I got passed the trigger, this book was sooooo freaking good! I can’t even put into words how much I enjoyed the story! I literally couldn’t put the book down! This is a Daddy/Little Girl book and it was the first one I have ever read and to be completely honest it was a kink I didn’t even know I enjoyed reading!
The FMC is so freaking cute that I fell instantly in love with her. How could you not? She is just adorable! But DAMN her at the end of the book?! Yes, please!
The MMC I struggled between hating him and loving him. I didn’t like his revenge plot and that he hurt her but I loved that he KNEW he did wrong and tried to make up for it. And boy did he get what he deserved in the end there! And I totally enjoyed reading her revenge scene! That was definitely steamy.
Anyway, I absolutely recommend this book! But I also recommend to not read without reading the trigger warnings! Either way, I definitely enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Let me preface my review by saying that I really wanted to enjoy this book. It had all the tropes that I love. It sounded like it would be an amazing read. But... I don't know. Just something about it made it a huge miss for me. I did enjoy reading it to the point of I needed to know what was going to happen, but it wasn't a "suck me in to read" book. I think it didn't help that this was my first book by Ransom, and that this one closely entwines with the other novel Ransom has written in this shared universe/series -- there is a heavy influence from the two FMC's in "Coach's Pet".
The familial relations, whilst obviously taboo in nature, actually got kind of confusing for me. We're also thrown a lot of thoughts that you think would make a great climax or turning point for the story, but it never eventuates to anything.
The spice - yeah, it was good. It was kinky, like it was promised. Yes, it had major D/s elements -- some of which I felt pushed a bit too far, and I'm one to normally love darkness/kink to my spice -- but also some of the kink felt forced. Yes, Jazz signed a contract but even then it was just.. idk.
Just... a lot of this left me with a lot of questions, a lot of questioning character choices and just general... dissatisfaction with the ending and the story in general.

Well this wasn't how I thought it would be. It actually made me cry so much in the end.
Chris is the heir of Groveton College. So he is ow rightfully the Dean. This is all part of a revenge plan against his step brother.
This step brother is Jazz' step dad. So when Jazz gets a full scholarship in Groveton it all starts.
I loved Jazz, for such a broken girl she has a big heart, so innocent and kind. It was her dream to go to Groveton with her best friend Tia. If she only knew how easily dreams can be broken.
Chris is a Dom and he manipulates Jazz into his submissive. It then progresses into Daddy/Little Girl/Slave relationship. It is quite Spicy. A lot of it is punishments so I didn't get to feel the love connection as much.
When he still goes ahead with the revenge it really broke my heart for Jazz.
Is it too late for Chris to damage control and win her back? I do love the role reversal as forgiveness. Unfortunately another twist comes in play. Now I'm confused as I wasn't prepared for their not to be a proper ending!! What's happening? This book really made me feel it all. Honestly it was good but do read triggers as some elements are dark and more than morally grey. Now I need more of them.

Chris is Jazz's step uncle with a thirst for revenge against her stepfather, David, and her step-grandfather. There has been a great falling out amongst them, and Chris plans to use Jazz for revenge. Since Chris is the Dean at Jazz's college of choice, it puts him in a great place to control and manipulate her.
The Daddy/LG dynamic is slightly intense, and Chris takes major liberties, so watch your TWs, darlings.
Overall, I did enjoy the story, although both main characters made me want to pull my hair out at times. Chris spends a considerable amount of time between feeling guilty and not guilty. Jazz spends a great deal of her time being willfully oblivious.
Other personal gripes include the introduction of characters without really introducing them (this is my first of this authors writing, so totally my fault), that we get half of another couple's story interspersed with this one, Chriss' motivation and that the reconciliation and wrap up was very succinct.

WOW!! Mr. Groveton is definitely a dirty dean!!! He had my body all tied up in knots, aching for some kind of delicious relief. I have never had a kink for deans before, but I definitely do now!

I highly enjoyed this story and could not tear my eyes from the pages. I look forward to reading the next one in this series.

This dark age gap romance is the story of Jasmine (Jazz) a college freshman and Chris, Dean of Students, and her step uncle. He seeks her out solely for the purpose of getting back at his stepbrother. He plans to use her, ruin her, and return her back home tarnished.
This is a dark romance. It took me a bit to like Jazz and Chris. I knew this was an age gap romance; however, she was only 18 years old. With that being said, Jazz did grow on me, and I was glad she finally stood up for herself to Chris and put their relationship on an equal footing.
This story is full of kinks, some you may or may not like; however, there are lots of steamy smexy times and a happily ever after. This author writes spice like no other and her books are always a must read.

S.J. delivers the spice every time. This book kind of runs concurrent to Coach's Pet by S.J. as well. Which that book features Jazz's friend, Tia. It is not necessary to read Coach's Pet to read this book. Each book is a standalone in this interconnected world. I just was pointing it out as I enjoyed Coach's Pet, and it was interesting to see Tia's relationship play out from Jazz's angle.
As soon as Chris came into the picture, he commanded control. The way he interacted with Jazz, got me all hot under the collar. The way that Jazz was defiant and then Chris would "punish" her. Yes, Daddy!
Love reading "Daddy" stories, then you need to pick up this book.

The book seems interesting, especially at the beginning. We have Jazz and Chris who are niece and step uncle, and Chris wants to get revenge on his step brother (David) so he seduces David's step daughter. He records her in compromising poses and sends them to David and from here the story loses its charm instead of becoming interesting. The ending is ambiguous, with an HFN, but which leaves many questions. At one point, we are introduced to Lilian, an ex-girlfriend of Chris, but later nothing happens with her. And at the end, the author tells us the end for now without mentioning if or when the story continues.

Holy cannoli, this book! Whew, I seriously needed a cold shower after this one!
Chris..man one second, I love him, the next I wanna smack him, then I wanted to jump him. Just everything. I especially loved when he knew what he was doing was hurtful, and I just adored him for it!
Jazz was just so cute! I loved everything about her and how she was perfect for Chris!
The spice in this...holy moly. I loved everything about the spice!! A lot of the kink in here are my favorites, and all of them together is just *chef's kiss*!

I absolutely loved this book. It's a dark romance with some content that could be triggering for some. Check the warnings. I love this trope type. I love the Dom Daddy/ Little Girl books. This is definitely one of my favorites. I definitely wouldn't mind a Daddy Chris of my own. Chris is the Dean of Education at Groverton. This is his family birth right but he had to work harder for his place against his step brother. This causes a revenge plot to form. In walls his Step Niece Jazz. She is the perfect pawn in his revenge plan. I loved their dynamic and wish there was more to come.

Dirty Dean certainly is a fitting title for this book. It is a dark read but it is also very very good. Chris is Jazz’s step uncle but he is also the Dean of Groveton College and they have never met due to family conflict. The obsession is phenomenal and neither can stay away from the other and you are expecting their relationship to lead to heartache. But there is more to come and I am so eager to read the next part of their journey. Very hot and spicy as only SJ Ransom can deliver but please read the trigger warnings.

This book is deliciously naughty and twisted with a HEA.
He was out for revenge on his step-brother and what better way to get than corrupting his innocent step-daughter. He is the dean after all so access will be easy. This will be fun for him in the best possible way. Problem is what happens when that line is crossed, will his feelings grow or will he destroy the happiness he could have had.
Great story, fast paced and spicy.

This book is totally twisted and loved every moment. Chris Groveton, Dean of Education at Groveton College, has had to work twice has hard to get where he is compared to his stepbrother. So when his step niece, Jasmine, applies and is accepted with a full scholarship, he starts to plan his revenge.
Jasmine has a crush in her step uncle but as time goes on, she develops feelings. But what happens when she finds out that he used her to get back at his stepbrother.

I really wanted to like this. I love the author's writing and how raw and rough it is. But to me, this read like it was rushed and there were a few gaps where there could have been more explanations. It just didn't flow for me. As a part of the Groveton College series and its tie in with Coach's Pet it worked very well.
Overall I loved the story, Jazz and Chris and their dynamic of Daddy and Little were great and Chris was just as dirty of a dean as I expected and hoped for.

Let me preface with read the TWs! There are a lot of them including grooming, manipulation, forced proximity and borderline noncon. I love all of Ransom’s works and the cameo of the Powers brothers was a nice surprise. Ransom’s books vary on the darkness spectrum and this one leans towards the darker side.

But this I get it he wants to get revenge and he did what he did.
Why is she back with him like it's nothing. He didn't grovel or anything. Simply they are back together because he let her dominate her one time and treated her well. She doesn't seem to have a back bone. What a mess.

Age gap, forbidden relationship and Chris realizes he messed up when Jasmine gets some control. I did not see that coming but hey she did what she needed to do for herself. I do advise reading the trigger warning.

Chris is no good man but damn the tension between him and Jazz could be felt from here. I loved every moment of them together. The taboo of the relationship didn’t bother me at all. I loved every minute of this book.

This dark age gap! Chris and Jazz are a force! Chris wants revenge and Jazz just wants to be apart his force! Until she gets in to deep, gets the upper hand! This book is stunningly written as always S.J did it again the spice was spicing the age was gapping, and the story was telling!
