There is only two ways out of the drug game death or prison no in-between. It’s every person for themselves and the streets loves no one yet, takes it all.
This book is the start of chaos just when we think Mario and Nikki have their happy ending they don’t as always the street is a call that no matter how many times you ignore it’s insistent ringing will have you answer it. All of our major players have been dealt a heavy blow. Who will survive ? Who will turn ? You have to read to find out.
This book turns up everything 20 notches you have enemies that were allies and allies turned enemies. The question is who really has your back ? Or who is plotting on your downfall?
This book spares no expense ! I cannot wait to read book 3 because the cliffhanger I have to know how they tie this book up.

Mario, Nikki, Gucci, Sam, Lovely, Mina, Maine and the crew are back!
The streets of Detroit are not big enough for both Nikki and Gucci, two women in love with the same man and determined to fight it out...every single time they run into each other. New characters are introduced, which adds more more fire to this already brewing pot.
The second installment to a great series will have you on the edge of your seats, as it tackles the underlying issues of depression,kidnapping, and sex trafficking. My hat is off to @inkdivaindia on another job well done.

I was throughly entertained by this book. so much happened. basically, you cannot trust anyone. every friend is really a foe. I'm disappointed in Sam's storyline, as well as Lovely and Mina. if I can find book 3, I will read it. for now, it's goodbye to Gucci, Maine, Lovely, Nikki, Sam, and Mario.

This was the first urban novel I have ever read, and let me tell you, i’m in love!!! I could not put it down it. I literally devoured this book in two days. I got so attached to the characters. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Also yes.
Not enough to make me not want to read. But enough that it detracts.
A fast page turning series so far nonetheless. A lot of drama and non stop unrealistic action.

Part two was definitely crazier than part one, I am so upset that book three is nowhere to be found! My librarian was searching every library/website for me lol the cliffhanger I just experienced in this book has me wanting more so sad mannn👏🏽

The ending has left me distraught lol. This installment was excellent, so many twists and turns I did not see coming! Gucci may be the worst character of all time she’s a terrible everything lol.

This is for books 1 - 3.
This story moved very well. The characters were developed. Chloe was a standout for her treachery. Rio was a disappointment in the husband department. I enjoyed every time Nikki and Chloe met up. The author did a good job of laying out the plot and all the drama that ensued. I am very much looking forward to the second installment. The audio production was well done and only one of the narrators didn't quite fit this story.

Part 2 picked up exactly where part 1 left off at. You enter the lives of Nikki, Gucci, Mina, Robin aka Chloe, and Lovely Brown.
Nikki and Mario are on their way to getting a divorce while Mario and Gucci are soon to be husband and wife. Mina is still waiting on some sign that Sam might return for her. Chloe on the other hand is an ex police officer whose now incarcerated and pregnant with Sam's child. Lovely Brown is a new face to the hoodwives but not to Detriot. She's also incarcerated and pregnant, not to mention Chloe's new cell mate.
The Hoodwives are at again with more drama than ever. Will Nikki finally get over Mario. Is Mario happy with his childhood best friend now turned wife Gucci. Will Sam ever return, and finally what will come about this newfound friendship with Chloe and Lovely. You'll have to read in order to find out. This book will not disappointment. A definite must read.

Man I didn't want to put this book down!!! Gucci was always too exerts for me! I must say Nikki never backed down though. Even though she got played after meeting Maine, she bounced back and realized she still loved Mario. Sam came back!!! Hopefully everything will go well with him and Mina. As for Chloe, I see some things never really changed. I guess she finally got what she deserved. Can't wait to start part 3 and also find out more about Lovely.

3.8 stars..I felt it was good, but not as good as book1. 2ward the end it got really soap opera like.
