Stone Adams tiene que enderezar su vida rápido. Sus patrocinadores están cansados de verlo con una mujer diferente colgada de su brazo. Así que Stone viaja a las Vegas y encuentra una más que dispuesta Divina para casarse. Pero cuando regresan a casa Divina le ha ocultado que ella ya está prometida y Stone se niega a quedar mal ante sus patrocinadores... ¿Que pueden hacer entonces? Pedir ayuda a Grace, la hermana de Divina.
Grace está cansada de sacarle las castañas del fuego a su hermana pero mmmm, esta vez en el trato va incluido el muy sexy Stone Adams...quizá por el pueda hacer una excepción.
Me ha encantado esta historia. Me encantó Stone y como él era capaz de ver que Divina podría ser la mujer más guapa pero interiormente era horrible, y me encantó lo blandito que es con Grace 😍 que mono por dios!
En cuanto a Grace, me encanta como mujer pero he de decir que es demasiado blanda. Le permite todo a Divina que es una jodida egoísta, malcriada y caprichosa. Y en cuanto a sus padres otros que tal baila. Siempre es todo para Divina porque como Grace siempre ha sido la responsable... Pues no! Qué narices es esto de darle todo a la caprichosa esa? De eso nada me cabreó muchísimo leer eso.
Pero finalmente el amor triunfa ❤️ mi único fallo en este libro es que empieza muy instalove, es una historia bastante rápida pero Dios es imposible no enamorarte! Muy recomendada.

I had read this book in the past, and it was a typical case where I remember a book to be better than it was.
This is a meh book. It was entertaining, and the characters were well-done, everything was nice but completely forgettable.
It's a nice book for the weekend, and if you're in a fantasy slump as I am, this might be a good book to pick. But there are better romance books to read.

Drunk in charge of a marriage licence may seem kinda strange, especially as the bride is not the heroine of Crash and Burn. That alone drew my curiosity and I wanted to find out how the author managed to dig her hero out of his self-inflicted dilemma, and how could Ms. Libby make me believe that ‘the other woman’ was a deserving heroine.
She did, and in a credible and believe manner, as long as you don’t take the story seriously. But then, this is a Rom Com, and Ms. Libby certainly has all her characters jumping through hoops.
In an effort to ‘clean up his image’ racing driver Stone marries in haste only to repent, and fall in love with his sister-in-law, at leisure. The author managed to turn this apparently self-serving hero into a caring and compassionate man once he comes to his senses. As for Grace, the sister-in-law, she is a mixture of loving and compassionate to the point of becoming spineless and it is Grace’s journey and how Ms. Libby maps out Grace’s transformation that is the thread that binds this story.
Good and vivid writing made up for the few inconsistencies in the plot and timing of events. The building of her characters both good and bad, major and minor, is well portrayed. The emotional twists and turns her characters have to deal with rival a mountain switchback, but remember this is a Rom Com.
If you are looking for a light humorous story, then Crash and Burn is the story for you.

Mmmm bueni, me parece un buen libro, entretenido, no esperaba algo fenomenal, y no lo es, así que cumple con las expectativas de pasar un buen rato con las ocurrencias de Grace, la interacción absurdamente atrayente entre Stone y ella, la insoportable de Divina, y ya! ;)

Hubiera podido ser mucho mejor... La pareja tenía potencial pero no la llevo a ningún lado! Esperaba mas!!
Y que pasaba con todos defendiendo y protegiendo a Divina? Y al final ella resultando ser toda buena? definitivamente no me gusto.

I think the idea of this book was excellent, but I don'tt think it's well thought out. However, I liked it anyway so I'll give it 3 stars.

3 1/2 sweet peas!
I found the premise of the story a little unbelievable in the beginning. Who gets married and then doesn’t consummate the marriage? But once I looked past that, I did enjoy the storyline. Stone deep down is not some playboy. He has a sweet heart and wants to find true love and have that perfect marriage. Grace does as well but she’s being continually called upon to help her sister. Even her parents are enabling Devina. But with all the pretending going on, neither really knows when the others actions are sincere or part of the act. We are treated to both POVs and you can tell they are falling for each other but it isn’t an easy journey. The story moves along fairly quickly, I definitely enjoyed the HEA at the end. There are some bumps and bruises along the way and jeez what a conniving beeoch Devina is. I think the unusual storyline and that Stone and Grace were very likeable characters made it an enjoyable story.

Nunca había leído un libro sobre pilotos de carreras, y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido muchísimo este libro. Estaba buscando algo sencillo y corto para leer en un día y sin duda Crash and Burn fue una muy buena opción.
Grace es un amor de persona, y cuando sus padres no la creían sobre como era su hermana y encima parecía que estaban del lado de Divina, me dolía. Divina es el peor personaje que he leído alguna vez en serio. Nunca he visto a una persona tan malcriada y mimada, y fue una de las mejores escenas cuando Hank se dio cuenta de como era y rompió con ella. Stone ha sido muy ayyyy, me ha enamorado totalmente y me ha gustado ver como ha demostrado de verdad que quiere a Grace.
El libro en realidad se centra en 5 personajes y poco más y ha sido muy fácil y rápido de leerlo.

Stone a sexy as hell Race car driver gets way more than he bargained for when he got married. I thought the story was cute, I enjoyed the spoiled brat of a sister Divina (well not enjoyed) but laughed at her. I loved Grace she's sweet, a sucker to help her sister and loves her family and is a bit of a home body. Stone I loved his arrogance but mostly his sweet and tender side. I thought the story was very comical in parts and romantic in others. I enjoyed the banter and longing between the two main characters. Una historia un poco predecible, no niego que tiene un buen trama, lo que no mucho me gusto fue el final, esperaba mas de los protagonistas, mas que todo de Grace, ella me desespero muchos momentos! no tenia el coraje sufciente para defender lo que le pertenece, no me gusto que ella fuera tan complaciente y que dejara que todos le dijeran que hacer, me gustan las protagonistas mas rebeldes que luchan por lo suyo y luchan porsus hombres!
Stone Adams? bueno es guapo, famoso y rico, quien no se enamora de el?? jajajaja obviamente siempre nos atraen los chicos malos y Stone te atrapa rapido en sus telarañas, el hombre tiene muchos defectos pero no se niega que sabe como enamorar a una mujer!

Pensé que iba a ser mejor, la verdad me hizo acordar mucho a la película La Pareja del Año. Y no es una película que me guste mucho.
A decir verdad, la situación no tenía NADA de sentido desde el principio. Los papás, el prometido, las hermanas... era una familia de locos. Divina es un personaje súper egoísta, pero los padres qué ESTÁN CIEGOS???? Y el final, por Dios.. malísimo.
Tiene dos estrellas porque fue un poco entretenido y Stone me caía bien, él pensaba que estaban todos locos.

I read this 6 months or so ago and I can't believe I didn't leave a review!
Even though its six months later I do remember I really enjoyed this book, I like racing car reads anyway, mix that with the romance element and the fact the younger sister steps in to help her older sister who married Stone in a rush in Vegas and well you get a feisty read with a sizzle of drama and a lot of steam rises along the way.
Really enjoyed it and will definitely read Michelle Libby again.

No fue la mejor historia, muy poco creíble todo el asunto de yo me hago pasar por mi hermana con unos retoques.
No comienza bien, no va bien a lo largo de la historia pero tuvo un final interesante. No bueno pero si algo con lo que digas ah por fin terminó...
Es lectura ligera, así que no quita demasiado tiempo y va más o menos divertida, no es la gran cosa pero puede quitar el estrés diario...

Me ha gustado mucho la trama y los personajes, a veces la protagonista era demasiado idiota respecto a su hermana pero en general bien. El final demasiado rápido pero bueno, en general es una lectura rápida y agradable con puntos excitantes.
I liked the plot and characters, sometimes the protagonist was too stupid about your sister but overall good. The end too quickly but well, overall it's a quick read and enjoyable with exciting points.

First of all.... who wouldn't love a male lead character with the name STONE?!?!
The whole scenario of passing one sister off as the other was frankly a little ridiculous, but I loved it none-the-less.
I loved how Stone just made himself at home in Divina's house (his Vegas married wife - who is actually engaged to another man).
It was a fun book to read.

Amo todo lo relacionado con carros, autos de carreras y piques (no se como se llame en otros lugares xD)
Muy buena la historia. Divina es una bicha, engreída y presumida ... Grace es un amor.
Corta, rápida de leer... Se esperaba un mejor final... La sentí floja en ratos.. Pero entretenida.

Lo leí con mucha expectativa porque es una novela con un deportista como protagonista, pero a pesar de que la trama era buena, siento que pudieron haberla explotado aún más y profundizar más en varios temas

ok, this book had some potencial, but some things didn't make sense to me.
at first i didn't like Stone all that much and Grace was soooo much more than he needed.
it is a fast read but work and other things prevent me from finishing before.

Uf que libro, últimamente, me han gusto mucho los libros que contienen un gran potencial de adrenalina. Buh no es así, me gustan las historias en donde hay autos, y es esta historia hay mucho de ellos metido.

Umm cumple su cometido de entretener, pero definitivamente no fue wow, la sentí demasiado floja y el final no le ayudo nada.
Divina fue una perra, Grace un amor, pero odie que se dejará mangonear y Stone ummm estuvo bien.
La trama fue buena, tenia potencial pero no se logró.
