The heartaches, the lies, the betrayal, the secrets, and the truth in this novel encompasses all that life gives us to endure. I thought Jillian and Keith were destined to be two hearts entwined forever, but after he allowed his dad to control his life, that is a resounding…NOPE‼️
This book is almost my favorite, but there are other lovers in another novel by Brenda Barrett, who are still embedded in my mind . Cabey is a great writer and ranks at the very top of my favorite authors.
