A mind-blowing piece After reading the book my mindset towards prevailing education system changed to great extent. I was a one who believed, one can never prosper in life without big degrees and credentials but now I have a belief aptitude matters. The story is centered on the ills of education system and how it is connected with political melodrama. The Protagonist, is an example of true leader. I really loved the storytelling skill of the author, and the way he has weaved it all is superb and fabulous.
To begin with, language of the book seemed little tough to me but gradually I got acquainted with it.
As the name speaks for itself, ‘Crossing the line’ is a real time eye-opener for all those who wish to see a brighter future of the new generations. This book is a sincere effort from the part of the author to enable the readers to comprehend the reasons behind the necessity to overhaul our educational system.
Unlike the general population who wishes to blend into the norms of our social systems there are very few, like the protagonist of this book, ‘Aditya Sinha’, who takes the initiative to cross the line and bring about a change. This simple act to be genuine in our decisions attracts criticisms which can isolate us in our society. Even after earning respect, power, and position; we find that thinking against the mob will always land us into troubles. Even in the darkest of rooms, if searched persistently with faith and devotion we can open the door to free ourselves. We get to know all the twists and turns in the life of Aditya and his sacrifices to realize his dreams.
I strongly recommend this book for the people of all ages, the main reason behind this being the fact that this book is a revolution in itself. The author Aabhas K Maldahiyar has presented his research on the persisting education system and the solution to reform the society by means of bringing about a change in that persistent education system by means of the story which involves the adventures of an Architect turned politician, Aditya Sinha. The author’s enthralling writing style and thorough understanding of politics, Architecture, Indian constitution, and the loopholes in the system is what keeps the reader captivated and bound till the very end. Not a single page of this book fails to entertain and inspire us and that I can guarantee. This book reflects the author’s determination to bring about a positive change in the education system and thus the entire nation. Aditya’s journey is an inspiration to the youth of this day and surly a role model for them. I feel inculcating nation building thoughts in the minds of young readers is what Aabhas has achieved with this book.
