Always looking for a book that I will love and when I find ones that end up becoming a series I am always hopeful that each book will keep delivering on bringing me a great read...sometimes when a series has been running a while you begin to find it getting stale but thankfully this is not the case with the 44 series as the author continues to deliver an excellent read in book 6. The style of writing has an easy flow that I love and the only criticism I can give is that the book is over too soon. If you haven't checked out this series yet then begin at the start and work through it as you won't regret it.

The 44 series is one of those that hooks you in and keeps you wanting more and Book Six does not disappoint! After a bit of a slow start, Abby Craig struggles with her visions and her love life.

Abby continues to see the murder of a girl she has never met and feels that time is not on her side to find this girl and save her life. Meanwhile, her relationship with Ty has completely torn her apart. She feels betrayed by his having to 'get away' and is trying to accept that he will never come back, because she still cares for a ghost who will always be her best friend and first love. I guess I can't blame him, I suppose it would be hard to feel like he would be living in the shadow of a memory.

Just when Abby thinks she has found the strength to move on, Ty reappears. Is he back for good?

44, Book Six has so many sub-plots going and the turmoil runs high. Abby seems to be maturing and learning to deal with her life, which is wonderful to see!

My biggest complaint: the books are too short, and the background provided is great, but I want MORE NEW story! I know, totally selfish, huh?

This was better than the last instalment - Abby is back to her usual character, and she stars to see a vision that is unlike her previous one, a vision that shows that she may have time to save the woman in it.
We also her Abby deal with Ty going AWOL to "think things through" as he is tired of living the shadow of Jesse, rightly so but after what she went through I felt he should have been with her. The whole book they were basically broken up.
This is a lot more suspenseful and picked up the feeling that I got when I read book 1 - I have loved all the books in the series, though I did feel it drop in book 5 but it has definitely picked back up again.

4.5 stars. I loved this one. I'm so hooked on this series!! I really love all the characters in this story and hope Jools continues with this series for many more years! I don't think I'll ever get enough! With the end of each book in this series, it leaves you wanting more and more. This is the longest I've had to wait for the next one (#7) and it's torturous! Romance, mystery, ghosts/paranormal...it's got it all.

By far, my favorite of the series. There's so much more angst, character development of the supporting characters (love David), a new twist on the ghosts she experiences, major lovelife troubles and her own life in peril. Just when I thought all was lost, I get my HEA, and then . . . the best cliff hanger thus far.

Bof, again I wasn't impressed with the story. Now there is only book 7 left to read, which I hope will be the last one, because the stories really drag on and the suspense is lacking. I would say the only realy good book of the series was the 1st one.
