This quite an adult serious read. The characters are well delineated but they are all emotionally damaged and trudging their way through life. Although this was a rather depressing read, it was realistic and insightful.

A ridiculous novel, with ridiculous characters, ridiculous plot, ridiculous events, ridiculous ending.

Was more like a disjointed short story collection than a novel. Characters were richly written.
